When my Disco disintegrates around it’s 3.9 V8, that motor is getting built and put into something awesome... Such an underrated engine.

I was at that show. It was awesome... I think I was 14 or 15 at the time.

2.71 low range, not 2.71 crawl ratio.

It’s a departure from the TJ. Which was a departure from the YJ. Which was a departure from the CJ... and so on. I think it’s more along the fact that the “simple brute” of the TJ is gone with the JK, but that’s not a fault of the platform as it is succumbing to regulations and standards just like every other new car.

DUUUDE don’t get me started on the price thing. I’ve been (or am being) priced out of 964s, 993s, E30s, 190E 2.3-16s, Series Land Rovers.... pretty much every 80s/90s awesome Euro car I drooled over when I was a little kid. x2 on SOON.

Pick up a beater truck for winter. Plenty of cool, cheap, old unreliable 4x4s out there. Unless you only have space for one car, then this isn’t an option.

The 2002 is on my short list of “cars I’d buy a one way ticket to the southwest for.” I’ve come to terms with the salt, there are ways to slow it’s death grip and don’t ever plan on owning some concours example of anything, so whatevs.

Lady Picture Show is a MUCH better single to use off of this album. Great album though, even without Scott Weiland.
