This guy

Another reason for me to boost my Rover 3.9 then.

Close to 8,000 lbs here. Tow rating is 5,500 US/7,700 everywhere else on a D1; both with gas or diesel.

Beautiful!

I’ve been driving my D1 around all summer with no spares and no tools. I like to live dangerously.

Just hack all the old BS exhaust off and run straight pipes to a generic parts store turbo-type (fiberglass insulated) muffler. As for wiring, its easier to rip all the old shit out and just wire new stuff in than to try and decipher what works/worked and what the last 25 owners decided to do. The clutch noise/stutter

This 1000x. I have a few friends into Hondas, and have driven (and ridden in) quite a few very built ones. I can tell you, with complete certainty, that you can and will feel the VTEC kick in a built GSR motor.

72 months 0% financing is free money though.

Ok.

I’ll DD my D1 until it blows up or someone crashes into me or I roll it down a mountain.

Since the rumor mill is 2018, I’d actually be first in fucking line for either of these.

I’ll take an Earthdreams V6 Powered Quad Cab Ridgeline Si Type-OR please.

Take your money? If you find someone with a 2 door RRC stateside, yes, they will take your money. A whole lot of it.

I loved watching that thing unfold in my dad’s 9-3.

Land Rover Defenders up to 2007 I think.

Man this thing is awesome. I would DD the shit out of one. What’s the fuel mileage like?

The QX80 has a neutered down 4wd system.. No CDL or rear diff lock, no terrain response system. I actually really like the truck, and would consider one if the 4wd was so shitty in the NA spec ones... and they lose their value almost as quickly as old Rovers did.

I was wheeling behind a $140k Autobiography SWB L405 over the weekend. Admittedly, the dude driving had NEVER driven off road before but he did have a LR offroad driving instructor in the passenger seat (take that with a grain of salt, he was kind of a pompous douche), but all I did was watch it get hung up and

Mine goes on whenever the battery is disconnected.

I bet your Cummins gets 35 MPG towing a house uphill against the wind at 85 MPH as well.
