My buddy’s $500 D1 has been pretty damn reliable. I mean, sure, it doesn’t really have floors or rear inner fenders but it DOES have 33s, sweet fender flares, and it’s a 5 speed. I think he’s into it for less than two grand including a new set of tires. I really hope cheap Rovers don’t become a thing, everything else

Ha, I grew up there. This is cool.

I would go to the dealer and buy one of these immediately if it were available.

So, what trails did you run? And I still don’t know where in NY you are, but this is probably closer to you than me... And yes, its 100% legal. There is plenty of legal wheeling if you know where to look.

The USB A connector isn’t going anywhere for a while.

If you really are a music lover, you should want something beyond the lame DAC in your phone/iPod. USB input for life, yo.

Hey, auto manufacturers. If you can’t build a proper midsize pickup that doesn’t cost as much as a full-size, I’ll just buy this instead and continue to replace $2 seals in every orifice of my Disco forever.

Every year I have something else planned when this happens. I drove by Etown on my way upstate last Saturday.

So much want now plz.

Bringing the ugly. Another Toyota I’ll never buy. Blech. You can do it Toyota, I know you can. Just. Try.

Ultra4 is a racing series, I was just wondering why you called it that. No need to get all offended, it’s a nice rig (saw the extra pics) I was just confused as to why you called it that. It’s like saying your Lumina is NASCAR racer.

You say Ultra4 but you are running leafs. Yea, its a YJ but those are bigger than 35s so you’re not running in stock class. Confused, I am.

D, 4 wheel high, CDL unlocked

They are both ugly, overpriced, and overrated.

The frame turns to rust way before the body does. I’ve seen it in YJs, TJs, and now the first gen JKs as well.

Aluminum doors would be the #1 benefit. JK doors are heavy.

All the aluminum body in Rovers does is hide all the rust in the steel panels underneath... Especially the old Series trucks. As far as that making it better off road? The frame is so beefy on old Rovers I don’t think it would have mattered what the body was made of, the COG would always be down low.

This guy is infinitely cooler than everyone else at the Expo. Even the people with the pair of Dormobiles.

Factory rubber mats still go for $100 bucks USED for a matching pair for my 20 year old truck. You have good condition OEM front, middle and rear cargo mats? $300. Damn Land Rover.

I’ll never run BFGs again. I’ve ripped and seen too many sidewalls blow out. I love my Cooper AT3s, loved my MTZs too. If I could buy any MT it would be the Toyo, hands down. Awesome tire.
