It's probably one of those newfangled ones with the separate disc brake system.

At my last interview, they asked me if I could do the job. They gave me a schematic, and asked me questions about it, then they handed me a circuit board and a soldering iron. I got the job, and they didn't even put paper cups for me to throw away or piss in.

It's much better working for people who prioritize the task

Some people REALLY love their zero-tolerance policies. It lets them not have to think about situational ambiguities.

Until they discover the things a sheep can do in Zero-G.

The A-10 doesn't need stealth. Its acoustic profile is practically a form of psychological warfare on its own. If an enemy is close enough to see/hear/radar detect an A-10, they're already fucked.

Originally, I was hired to work on sensitive microphone circuitry. They decided (for reasons that must only be insanity) that I would work better in the sales department where more people were needed, spending every day at a desk pushing paperwork. This obviously didn't work out too well, because I wasn't at that

I once worked for a company - all office, no public interaction - where they required a dress shirt and dark pants every day, even when it was 120 outside. They had a "casual friday", and I wore a no-logo T-shirt with dark (nice) jeans. They flipped their shit at me and nearly sent me home, telling me that "casual"

Congratulations, you met a budding sociopath. It's rather unsettling when you discover just how common these people really are.

I was wondering "what happened to Joe?" ...Apparently he died in 2007 of cancer. I'm not a big sports fan, but I grew up in Ohio, and my grandma was obsessed with the Cincinnati Reds. We listened to Marty and Joe all the time.

In Doctor Who, the aliens always seem to have an unhealthy obsession with this tiny island somewhat north of Europe. Can't imagine why, though.

You can't just stick a SATA 2tb for 79 bucks on Newegg, or did they do that stupid security thing?

I used to go to a guy who would do it cheaper than I could get the supplies at Autozone, but he never tried to upsell me on anything. He'd do a quick check-through, but if anything needed refilled, or a quick bolt needed tightened, he'd just do it and never charge. Do garages get good bulk price on the oil or

Ironically, Gawker.com is "Definitely" vulnerable.

What I mean is that the electrolysis system isn't going to provide you any benefit, because it takes a lot of energy to produce hydrogen from water. Fuel cells are nice, but only when you already have an ample supply of liquid hydrogen. That hydrogen doesn't have as much energy as you're requiring to make it- so

The RE-20 and SM-7 are direct competitors in radio... but they're both good mics. You do see a lot more RE-20's because they have been the industry standard for so long.

They both beat the RE-27, though. I didn't much like that mic. (and no, I don't care how shiny it is.)

What hasn't been mentioned here is that the payout levels per mission are at such a level that there is little incentive to play them - one would have to play nonstop for weeks to save up for anything substantial.... Unless, of course, they pay for more in-game cash... which is what this whole thing is really all

Where do you get the electrical current, though? you have to put more in than you'd get out.

The reason these things run on diesel or gas is not necessarily efficiency, but availability. Your multi-million dollar tank isn't worth jack if you can't easily fill it up - how are you supposed to recharge for 12 hours in the field? Battery swap wouldn't be an option, obviously.

And yes, they could be hybrid.. but

Except for the whole thing of not being able to get readily available hydrogen...
