As long as the necessary collection of proprietary streaming services costs more than the cable bills of old while arbitrarily removing access to popular content, people will continue to pirate. As long as the demand is there, the supply will follow.

By 5G, do they mean the new 60GHz cellular standard? How exactly do they expect to get the signals inside of buildings...or even to the other side of your head if you’re turned away from the transmitter with these glasses? Virtually anything and everything has been shown to obstruct these signals.

I used to work a few units down from a crematorium. Sometimes the wind was not in their favor... It does not, in fact, smell like BBQ, and there was an exceedingly unsettling... “human” character to the odor. 

One thing that really killed Google Glass for me was the interface. Instead of a high-contrast “HUD” look, we basically got something that looks like those facebook updates with a colored background. A gigantic red or blue rectangle with a few white words in it wasn’t helpful.

I’m a product developer for a business. I know damn well that we could pump out plastic garbage and it would probably sell just fine, but I take pride in my work and refuse to create bullshit, just like many others.
