So, to be clear, the AV Club is anti-“nepo baby,” but throwing your weight around to try to get your unqualified wife hired as a producer is an act of “spousal solidarity.”

“Wife guy” is a couple of years old now, but you might have to be terminally online to see it in the wild.

Not sure how clamping their nipples is going to help, but I support you.

French attitudes toward sexual harassment/assault are pretty wild, so I'm surprised they actually managed to get this put in place.

Indie rock musicians everywhere have been shaking throughout the nepo baby reckoning.

but i don’t see him as any better or worse than, like, tye sheridan.

Lucien* Laviscount. He also has an even more improbably named brother, Louis, and since they’re Bri’ish, they absolutely pronounce that ze French way.

He is pretty generic most of the time, but can also be distressingly dirtbag hot with the right haircut/shitty facial hair combo.

Right? Like, it’s not shocking or controversial to say the man was a palmiteiro.

Brazilian racial identity and the desire of palmiteiros to achieve whiteness through actively pursuing and having children with non-white partners is basic stuff.

We’re just desperate for competently made blockbusters starring actors who have actual charisma (Miles Teller notwithstanding).

They were just too horny for Kristin Kreuk to actually do anything with Lana’s character besides keep her around.

I hope Big Boi reads these every year.

It was fun while I was watching it (the audience was having a blast) but it seemed that the writers thought that simply setting it in Detroit and having a throwaway reference to white flight would do all the heavy lifting vis-à-vis race and class. That combined with the Justin Long storyline made it feel like a movie

Do I have to watch the first Terrifier to appreciate the sequel? It looks bad and I remember it getting bad reviews...

It is, like your comma placement, strange. Then again, Gwen Stefani would probably like you to think that she and Barrymore are not peers, so she’s happy to phrase this in a way where you'd think she's younger.

I hope you said “Big tune” before you left.
