“Help, I’ve become Basic”
“my car will essentially be a statement of who I am. And it needs to say: yes I can fit in here but no, I’m not a carbon copy and I don’t need your approval.”
Did he look like a blue genie?
The last time I bought a car from a dealer, my wife’s Odyssey, we had the car picked out, secured our own financing, and had the price negotiated. It still took four hours at the dealer, with two small children in tow. It doesn’t matter how friendly and accommodating they were, it was still miserable.
“Ford’s total car deliveries skidded 21 percent last month” - that tends to happen when you don’t sell cars anymore.
Woof :-)
There’s plenty of scientists on board, this should be trivial for them to solve.
Do you realize how deadly measles has been historically? 7 to 8 million people died of measles EVERY YEAR until a vaccine was developed. You’re dangerously misinformed.
Agreed! I just bought one, it’s the bee’s knees.
The only M parallels for sale around here are 18s, and that’s just too much wheel for an E28 in my eyes.
Back around ‘92, my father did an M5 swap into an E9 3.0CS coupe. Classic styling with great M power. Ping Tsao’s 3.0 CS M5 from back in the day.

It’s kinda like the 4Runner in that regard. The best qualities of an old car are still there and it’s honest about it.
Have you SEEN a Civic Si? Not everyone wants to be stared at driving down the street.
Aha, but as we know, your judgment is not to be trusted!
“Factory workers signed the last Oldsmobile, an Alero sedan...”
On the off chance someone here doesn’t understand why Oldsmobile died, that ought to explain it pretty well.
I worked at a Toyota Scion dealer and we got teasers for a new four door, fun, stylish car. I got excited and we started hoping for a Mark X among ourselves. We were thinking Scion would at least bring some legit JDM enthusiast saloon in it's death throws but we got the C-HR instead. I quit the next day.
