The Telluride is awesome. It is a handsomely solid design without any weird aggressively crease-y gimmicks seen on almost every other design these days. Kia has shown it can be done - why is it so hard for all other automakers?
That brushed stainless roof it pure class and so unique in its era.
BMW is the Cadillac of the 2000 era onward methinks
I’m crossing my fingers for their pickup truck and SUV (which actually seem utilitarian and good looking) but the huge investments from outside companies Amazon and Ford (instead of just straight investors) has me worried that they’ll have too much pull as to what they should produce.
Yes I agree on all fronts here and his reviews are hilarious. I also do not agree with some of the things he says but he’s kind of intriguing to listen to, I always chuckle when he goes off on the bird on the power line. Doug DeMuro should have a W140 review coming out soon. When he posted the video announcing his new…
The vibe is good from the exterior, there’s just something missing. It’s nice, unoffensive, but it doesn’t give people who don’t know cars the feeling that it’s something special and high-end in a way that other large luxury sedans do.
Here’s the deal with that - the people (mostly men I’m assuming) who want luxurious trucks don’t want a luxury badge because it’s not “manly” enough. So as a result you have $80k high end trim levels on very common half ton pickups which these same people are happy to buy.
If you just look at the SUVs, Lincoln is doing great. When the redesigned Navigator came out they couldn’t keep them on lots. The interior theme they started with the redesigned Navigator is seriously nice. So much better than what Cadillac is putting out these days (look at the XT6... yeesh). The redesigned Escalade…
You’ll probably be able to buy a 2020 in 2021 honestly. Not to be pessimistic, I love large sedans, but that’s the reality. Also as a nod to your username, we have a Regal TourX wagon we love
Ha, was thinking the same thing just watched it last night. That thing is pretty cool - for some reason though the design never looked ‘imposing’ in the way an S Class or 7 series are (not that I like their designs these days but you can tell they are something special).
My brother texted me asking questions about new car sales just before Thanksgiving last year. I assumed it would be something for his fiancee (now wife) because she was driving a very old CR-V that has had issues. He was then driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit which my parents bought for him (new) and also…
Toyota has a press release where they select Prii has the preferred plural
Their press release says Prii
Wow really? I’m in the opposite camp. I’d watch videos of him all day. I often wonder “Does Raph know how cute he is?”
Ha I thought the same thing!
I would take the cost in high-priced NYC as normal. The one near me (about 35 mins from SF) is $8.25 per person.
Granted I’m not in a major city but the drive-in near me is $8.25 per person so it’s a much better deal.
That extended screen slab area unfortunately makes shorter people feel claustrophobic. Was helping a friend look at C-Classes and when she got into the E-Class she said ‘oh this is way too big for me’ - obviously the car itself isn’t that much bigger but she felt like she was sitting behind a wall.
Yea, it is not at all clear where Justin got this notion that the ‘wheel arches are bigger’. Did Mercedes say that? Or did he look at a picture and say ‘those look bigger, I’ll write an article about that’ even if they’re not bigger in reality?
