Agreed. Also, this:

It sounds better for them to say they’re giving up something, even if they weren’t going to get it in the first place because of shitty performance, ya know?

Nope, not wide at all.

Not true, actually. The F10’s replacement, the G30, does not have the awkward hood cut line.

Even for us non-fanboys, it’s fairly obvious that launching a new vehicle is exponentially more difficult in the middle of a pandemic.

Yea Imola Red was only available on the 4.8is (which got the E39 M5 gauge cluster from the factory) so it is pretty rare on the E53 X5 and looks AMAZING

The E53 X5 looks excellent today (especially compared to the awkward first-gen Mercedes M-class).

It’s telling that all of their promo photos include a license plate. I’m sure if you asked them they’d say it’s because a plate is required, but I think it’s because visually it breaks up the grilles and looks like a more standard front end design.  Remove the license plate and those grilles look like a huge pig nose.

Yes Lincoln really hit a home run with the Navigator redesign and now have star product they can emulate for all their other products.

Don’t forget the 2007 M45 Sport won this Car and Driver comparison test against BMW, Mercedes, and Lexus which was big news.

Yes definitely check it out, do a search on Autotrader. We got $9k off sticker without even trying.

You want a Buick Regal TourX wagon. I’m serious. We got one in February and it does everything well with more than enough room for our German Shepherd. We previously had a 4Runner but it was too high for our GSD to jump in, this is a much more usable height. Plus you can get a killer discount on one.

Agree - my husband had a first gen and then traded it in for a second gen. I actually really liked how great they were.

Thank god SOMEONE who doesn’t want a crossover

This was my gripe when they decided not to stop bringing 5 series wagons to the US after the E60 (E61). They said it was due to low sales, but they never have confirmed that replacing it with the GT actually increased sales... and by the ungainly looks of the thing (first as the 5 series GT, then now as the 6 series

Much of the demand that drove this change in strategy came out of the flagship Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Munich, Germany.”

Ford’s letters were SVT. So not that different but just different enough I guess?

Nissan is considering cutting 15 percent of its global workforce over COVID-19

Everyone compares Genesis to Lexus when it started up in 89/90, but does anyone know how much less $$ the Lexus LS400 started at versus the contemporary S-class? I realize at that point Mercedes was at the tail end of the W126 and was about to introduce the W140 which, due to its engineering complexity and goal to
