My daily driver has a cassette player so I use the old school cassette adapter to plug into my phone for music. Works extremely well, music sounds good. As much as I love CD players too, they just aren’t as practical from that standpoint.

Seriously, HGTV didn’t help at all and made it worse. I think the goal in the beginning was to make things ‘neutral’ to appeal to more buyers but it went way overboard.

Omg the greyscale craze for car paint colors, interiors, and even homes needs to go. Every time I see a home that is painted grey and white, or walk into a home with grey walls/cabinets/floors, or some combination of that, I an immediately turned off and get the opinion the people had no taste.

Lol I guess their research said “more Tesla, less traditional luxury”. I am an S Class owner - but mine’s 21 years old. So I guess no, I’m not the target market for a new one.

Because glossy black plastic trim is cheap and lazy. It’s only in the last 10-15 years that it’s become commonplace. When it’s clean, and in photos, it gives the car an aura of modernist appeal. But the realities of day-to-day car use mean tons of dust and smudges. And yes you can clean it, but it will be dirty two

Insulting to the Genesis, which looks better.

EW. The shiny black interior bit thing needs to end. This glossy black shit is usually plastic (despite the fancy marketing name ‘piano black’). And in the upper end cars where it’s actually wood, it ends up looking like plastic anyway.

Almost as 90s as Crystal Pepsi

The can made it cool.

I am a Google maps/street view nerd - what is this glorious app!?

The only thing that made any substantial change was me, in that I now have more familiarity with another pointless fix.

Lol was thinking the same thing - def didn’t chase him down in that Taurus! Maybe radioed to another officer who was ahead of the Mercedes?

Okay good <3

David, we like you around here. With the cars you like, please drive UNDER the speed limit at all times. We don’t want to see you killed. Can your cars even go faster than the speed limit?

It’s more than they’d rather people forget about it. It didn’t last long but it did have major impacts on the company.

Wow a lot of responses to my comment on both sides - just want to clarify I wasn’t accusing the dealership of lying to the customer. Tom said there were two possible reasons for their response and I was just pointing out a third possible reason.

Isn’t there a third reason for the first question? The dealer is BSing to get more money out of the customer?

Mind sharing which two you bought? Hearing about their older products makes me happy.

I am ‘sorta’ surprised by this - but there’s a second reason that isn’t being addressed. True that the popularity of their crossovers (ahem, SAVs lol) means less people wanting to come to Europe for the cars made over there.

Seriously, it’s like - I read this site anyway I would just do it as a courtesy.
