I actually think this looks very classy. Sometimes when there is wood all down the sides it can make the car look droopy/frumpy to me but this is just the right amount to be tasteful. I love it.
Would you pick a GTS or an e28 535i with a stick?
The e28 is currently appreciating in price. Can’t say the same for the Chryslers. I’m sure they were decent for the time.
From that commercial above:
My 95 525i 5 speed turns 3500 rpm at 80 mph (the ‘standard freeway speed in California) and it bugs me. I wish it had a sixth gear tacked onto the end of the existing gear spread.
I thought these were so cool. There was one flavor I really didn’t like (I think it was the yellow) but I didn’t care because I just wanted to be seen drinking it.
This is interesting because I thought the whole point of Japanese kaizen manufacturing was being able to continuously improve, ordering smaller batches from suppliers so a part could be altered before its next order. This has worked beautifully for Toyota and, while I realize Subaru is a much smaller company, I…
They most certainly do - this article glossed over that fact to make it more dramatic. I am so tired of clickbaity articles.
Yep that’s true, 5.6 cents. I’m supportive of gas taxes as long as the proceeds are used efficiently.
I drive past this one in Dublin, CA at least a couple times a month. I remember when it used to say HUMMER on it, but that was before the oldest image on Google (2011).
Somehow this will affect California prices. I don’t know how, since California is only using its special ‘summer blend’ that is only refined in state, but somehow it will go up. I call it.
That is gorgeous
BMW hasn’t done it for me in a while, but I have to say that this latest generation of their SEDANS is much better proportionally than the F01, F10, and F30 that came before it. I could never get into those. With the exception of the refreshed 7’s enormous grilles, they look much better and have brought the hood cut…
I can’t imagine the take rate is high on the
V127 Series.
Say what you want but I enjoy the naturally aspirated V6 and reliable 5 speed auto in my 2019 4R. It has enough power for what we need. It is noticeably ‘old’ compared to other powertrains but for many people this is a non-issue.
Literally any BMW before 2003.
And the sign whose letters are all askew.
Agree, there were three styling things with the Limited trim I didn’t like. The huge chrome bar across the front, the low rocker panels and front/rear bumper extensions, and the fake wood trim inside.
After two years of the TRD Pro having exclusive blue colors, 2020 will have an army green color which I think is pretty cool. Green needs to make a comeback.
