Speaking of white, I’m glad this is available in white because I’ve become a fan of white cars with blacked out badges/trim. Not that it can’t look good, but I feel personally that completely blacked out cars (paint and all) are getting a bit boring. There’s something to be said for contrast.

I had an F30 3 series for a dealer loaner once when my 550i was in for service. What a piece of shit. Two of my friends have e46 325i’s and the quality in those vehicles is leaps and bounds above what BMW churns out now.

Love the caption - thank you for my first laugh of the day

It’s like a lot of technology these days - it’s solving problems people didn’t have just because it can be done.  Which most people are down with but I’m not.  That’s why my daily driver is a 1995 BMW.

Cadillac also needs to change their script logo. It screams old person. I have to say that in the pics of the new CT4-V and CT5-V I was quite pleased with the font used on the engine cover. That looks pretty badass.

The pattern definitely doesn’t look ‘high end’ but the vinyl material has held up so well that I overlook it.  I would have been fine with cloth but I like that it’s easy to clean vinyl, and leather on these cars always seems to be a bit stretched.

Yea, we were looking at lightly used ones (up to 4 years old) and with the values the 4Rs retain it just made sense to buy new.

That’s what’s been interesting about the 4Runner, sales plateaued for a few years but they’ve increased the past few years even as the platform is now 10 years old. We bought a 2019 in January and we love it

When I bought my 95 525i/5 a year ago, I did not like the stock Style 2s it came with. But I am very big on stock wheels that are appropriate for the platform and size, so I stuck with 15s but got some model-correct Style 5s. Smaller wheels just look good to me on the e34.

Agree, that seemed rather trashy to me.

The white tachometer should have been the red flag that this thing was doomed.

This thing looks so bloated and ungainly, especially in that lead image rear 3/4 view. It looks like a ramp van for handicapped people. The Mercedes GLE coupe has a similar problem. Yuck.

I think it’s a throwback to when their top of the line was called Turbo and actually was the only variant with a turbo. Now that they all have turbos they really should think of something new but I assume they’re trying to hold onto the heritage of that even if it no longer makes sense.

You can’t get a Z4 with a manual in the US.

Oh you guys. First off, my date was not a woman. Secondly, what I should have also said is that the one remark was the first of many where he talked down to me because he was about 12 years older than me. There was a lot of “oh when I was your age...” stuff that made me cringe. So that comment about my car was very

I pulled up to pick up a date (it was our first date) in my 2008 BMW 550i. They opened the passenger door to get in and said “do your parents know you stole their car?”

Isn’t this the generation that has the biodegradable/disintegrating wiring harness issue?

It’s easy to say it’s the kids’ fault for taking the loan in the first place. But you have to realize they are just that - kids - and have never made a financially impactful decision like that before. Bundle that with a loan industry that makes it seem as though these loans are no big deal, and that so many people

I think we need to determine when boomer car interest starting spiking - was it when these cars were 20, 30, 40 years old?  Because at this point, cars from my era (I’m 32) in this range are certainly of interest to me.  I’m glad Radwood has come around.
