It’s ridiculous that even BMW is treating it as the end of an era with a Finale Edition, like they have no choice. Grr.

My mom drove a 2000 Trans Am 6 speed for a few years. Cheers to cool moms!
My mom drove a Trans Am 6 speed when I was in high school. People were always trying to race her haha
They’re like the vehicular manifestation of yoga pants. You only ever see yoga pant-wearers doing errands or getting coffee.
Luckily since the second row reclines we just recline it one notch - it’s not far back enough that you feel like you’re sticking your neck out when you’re against the backrest, but just enough that your head isn’t right up against the sunroof drop in the ceiling. We didn’t want a third row and it we had to search a…
This makes me sad =(
Our neighbors when I was growing up were an older couple that had an LHS just like that one. I thought the woman was so fancy when I would see her driving it because it was such a large car. Even when I (rarely) see one today, they still look enormous to my 32 year old self. I can’t tell if they’re actually huge by…
It’s all that CAB FORWARD design!
It’s a great looking wagon. I also see they raided their sister brand Jaguar’s wheel bin.
I’d rather have the “shitty” interior that will last for 300k miles than a nicer interior that will last a fraction of that time.
We just bought a ‘19 and I wish it didn’t have a sunroof. We got the Limited because my spouse and I are very different heights and wanted memory seats, but unfortunately it came standard with the sunroof. The amount that it lowers the ceiling of the interior is a little nuts, but we still love it overall.
My husband wanted a RAV4 or a Highlander due to safety features and fuel efficiency (vs. the 4Runner). Fortunately, for me, we had to ensure it would fit our dog’s crate longways into the cargo area. Due to the swoopy crossover design of those two, it wouldn’t fit, so the 2019 4Runner became our newest vehicle…
As Ricky pointed out, the Limited trim has a proximity key which has buttons on the liftgate for you to roll the window up/down.
Yea the video made it sound like there was no rear wiper - there is, it’s tucked under the spoiler.
We just bought a 2019 4Runner specifically for reliability. And is fits our dog’s crate behind the second row seats. And in a see of swoopy crossovers it looks badass IMO. So a few reasons.
Interestingly the 4Runner has another option that can serve as a tailgate seat or to assist in loading heavy items - the cargo deck tray.
Which is interestingly something BMW got from Land Rover when they owned them.
In a sea of swoopy-styled car based crossovers, the 4Runner stands out. Additionally it’s body upright design is a better use of space. We considered a couple other models before purchasing our 4Runner but we need to fit our German Shepherd’s crate in the back and the 4Runner was the only midsize vehicle that it would…
They have taken the lever away in the non-TRD trims recently. The SR5 and my Limited (2019) have a dial, but if I recall correctly the TRD off-road and Pro still have the lever.
You know what’s funny, the Toyota website doesn’t refer to it as AWD, but rather full time 4WD. I always assumed that AWD just meant that it was always engaged and you couldn’t turn it off, but every AWD Vehicle I can think of doesn’t have any configurability with a locking differential. I guess because on the Limited…
