We contributed to January 4Runner sales, bought one on the 28th. I love the old reliable tech.

Yes, they are both that way. But I think the general consensus is that because the V60 is less expensive, more dealers will be likely to have them on the lot in areas where wagons are popular.

Sorry man, I didn’t mean to suggest that Tacos made in TX and Mexico are somehow inferior. I just meant that they’re already at the top for reliability and the 4Runner is actually built in Japan so there is no comparison between other models in its class.

That doesn’t make sense in this context. Subtotal is calculated because taxes are added as a percentage of the subtotal, so the subtotal is a critical number.

It depends on what people are looking for - if you want something that will reliably run with standard maintenance for 250,000 miles, you get a Tacoma. It might be basic features-wise but that’s how all pickups used to be. Only recently have people begun expecting all pickups to have to comfort if a luxury car.

This is exactly it. I have a thing for older BMWs (through the early/mid 2000s) and currently own three AKA one too many. I love them but with all the TLC they constantly need it can be a bit overwhelming.

We got $5k off MSRP on a 4Runner yesterday - discounts can be had but it depends on the area and what variants sell well/what variants sit for a while in that particular area.

Completely agree - we got a 2019 4Runner yesterday and love it!

Got a substantial discount - that’s the only way.

Ha, we looked (briefly) at lightly used 4Runners and at that point there’s no reason not to get a new one, which we did yesterday. Could have had many other things but the 4Runner was exactly what we were looking for. I love that it also doesn’t have a million things beeping all the time or a ridiculous stop/start

Yea, we bought a new 2019 4Runner yesterday - Think the GX proportions are hideous. Like seriously one of the ugliest SUVs I have ever seen. Loving the 4Runner so far.

Just bought a 2019 4Runner yesterday. I think new Lexuses are HIDEOUS and I also didn’t want to drive a luxury brand. That sealed the deal with the 4Runner for us.

Mmmm Clearly Canadian...

Hey Andrew, just wanted to tell you I’m so glad to have you back. It felt lonely around here without you!

I live in Stockton, which until Detroit was the largest city in the US to file for bankruptcy. It’s definitely quite a challenge to get anything maintained in these cities, even basic tree maintenance which would be a huge liability if a diseased tree fell on someone.

Hey Patrick when do we get an update on your BMW? I daily drive an e34 and I’m keenly interested.

Also, the most recent Google street view of the bridge includes a Pontiac Torrent. #onlyindetroit

I’m surprised that the bridge was allowed to still span over a public roadway in its derelict condition.

hmm looks like a Cadillac Catera

Right, but they now have their Mercedes-Maybach trim level which is excess turned up to 15.
