They have up on the Mercedes-Maybach line?
They have up on the Mercedes-Maybach line?
They did try it for a few years with that late 50s Eldorado Brougham. That thing even has an auto opening and closing trunk which is just insane to me.
We’re thinking of getting a 4Runner, with our German Shepherd and the projects we always have going on, we need something a bit bigger.
de Nysschen also fucked up the naming convention at Infiniti so I blame him.
Ah the BMW fan clutch tools. I’m intimately familiar with them. I’ve removed the fan in my X5 at least three times.
Johan de Nysschen who they hired 3 years ago, and who moved the HQ to New York (Dare Greatly and all that shit), was from Audi and then Infiniti.
Lol. I hate their stupid naming convention, but the issue with the XTS is that it is their ‘old’ naming convention (which isn’t even that old).
Omg I was going to post this quote too - it drove me up a wall.
Oh god, I hate how hard it is to take some things apart.
Ugh, I’m having a similar debate right now. My spouse drives an ‘05 X5 6-speed manual. It’s fun to drive (for a crossover) and we like that it’s manual. However, I had this realization today (as he may be taking a job that requires driving) that we don’t own one very reliable car.
Oh no... I think I’ve heard about this. Is it because it’s never supposed to break?
That looks.... bad.
This makes me feel better about the valley pan gasket replacement I just did on my 540i.
And they aren’t even doing the crossover blobs decently... the Kia Telluride looks so much more high level than anything Cadillac is producing.
It’s certainly more in the package than BMW gives you for any M-Sport model. The first one (the e39 M-Sport) gave you many enhancements (powertrain, chassis, cosmetic) over the standard model, but they’ve increasingly watered it down to mostly cosmetic enhancements.
I apologize if I sounded entitled, that wasn’t my intention. I guess my point was that horsepower alone doesn’t tell the whole story.
Yes, but there downsides to even new performance vehicles that negatively affect performance, usually to meet MPG regulations.
My heart is with you.
Funny you say that - I was under my e39 earlier today. Forgot to put in my last two bolts for the splash shield which I removed two weeks ago when doing the ridiculously fun valley pan gasket replacement.
And there seems to be a whole scholarly article on ransom kidnappings in Italy from the 60s though the 90s.
