This is sad, I’m really hoping that there would be a company that would knock Facebook’s dominance for the Quest for standalone headsets.

Not super interested in hearing a lot more from the guy whose lede is Ethics’ are getting in the way of me being able to make a robot that only knows how to kill without mercy.” Kinda know where his argument is going to go from there and personally? Not a fan.

I have owned an RV and a boat and was gleefully dancing in the streets when I sold both. just tired of the constant expensive (even if you do it yourself) maintenance.

Mobile coverage is slightly less sketchy than fixed wire covered by virtue of the fact that, even if the performance in a given area is lousy, it’s still present for that area. Fixed service, on the other hand and as anyone familiar with the reporting and maps will tell you, can be ‘present’ for a single building in a

A reminder, while this is ongoing, about the Resnick family and the ownership of water in California - buying it at $30 a foot and selling it back to the state during dry years at $200.

...I get you, and honestly I feel mostly the same; but doctors (many of them anyway, ask any transperson about emergency care) treat the patient in front of them regardless because that’s what they’re driven to do.

Admittedly I am in Ireland where we have an actual right to be treated and not go millions into debt.

I like to call these games accidental workout games. They are super fun, and then the next day or two will make you wonder why you're so sore in your legs.

And I thought I would see this first installed on a camper van, not on the hood of a Prius

Dude couldn't figure out a roof mount? Come on.

Here’s a few I would like to see.

1) Purge: Jury (or maybe just Purgery?)
A taught court room drama where an individual on trial for a crime he didn’t commit must take up arms to defend his accusers and court officials when they all inadvertently get trapped in the court house during the Purge.

2) Purge: Flow Control

... what we really need is something that prevents any single company from being the dominant entity in more than two or three product markets...

I’d recommend Technology Connections. Though he’s got 1.2 million subs, it’s still a really fun and interesting channel that I hadn’t heard about until about six months ago. You’ll learn everything you never wanted to learn about technology we take for granted. And he’s funny. Usually.

“Alas, poor Yorick6969420, I knew him, xHoratiox23897. A fellow of infinite cash, of excellent weaponry. In heists he hath born me on his back a thousands time and oh, how abhorrent a pilot was he. The memories haunt me.

Oh, and I can’t forget accidentally scrolling too far down the page when trying to open the comments and having it completely load a new article without anyway to go BACK to the article I actually care about, and only being able to get to it by going back to the main page or going through my history.

So I’m definitely not in the “I paid mine off so f*ck everybody else” camp, and I’d love to see these people helped, but there’s one thing I don’t understand: is forgiveness just a one-time occurence? So everybody who has student loan debt now essentially wins a birthdate lottery, and future students start building up

I think it's hard to top Ming-na Wen. She's had major roles in Star Wars (thanks to The Mandalorian and the upcoming Book of Boba Fett), Stargate (Universe), and the MCU (Agents of SHIELD). She's a Disney princess (Mulan). She's starred in video game movies (Chun Li in Street Fighter, and Final Fantasy). Pretty great

Just get Appa from Kim’s Convienance to return as Teva and you’re golden.

David Warner has been in Star Trek (multiple times), Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Time Bandits...

Anyone else get worried after Wrecker hit his head and kept rubbing the area where the inhibitor chip is?
