Wait, is that Tom Paris (Robert Duncan McNeill) in the background of that first clip?  Was he in Nemesis?  I think my mind has tried to erase most of that movie...

Picard and Crusher not actually developing and getting into a relationship (All Good Things does not count) is second only to Stargate’s O’Neill and Carter (hints and all the alternative stuff don’t count, either) in story completeness.

I’m with you. I faithfully followed all federal, state, and local guidance regarding mask wearing, as well as any business that had stricter requirements at the time. I did so, and continue to do so without even silent complaint, because it’s the right thing to do.

Unless I start wearing a shirt that says I’m vaccinated I’m going to still wear a mask.  And I’m going to assume anyone not wearing a mask is a Trumper worried about their ‘freedumbs’ more than stopping a deadly pandemic.  Not that you really need the absence of a mask to easily point those idiots out anyway.

I always felt like a big part of the issue was that they always want to turn Star Trek movies into action movies even though episodes of the show were rarely very action packed. It’s a lot more challenging to have an action movie and give seven people equally interesting things to do.

I mean - the show’s utilization of women has been a fairly long-standing criticism. It may have been “better” in some ways than other shows of its time - but it still wasn’t great.

Met her at the Dublin ComicCon a few years back and she was a delight. Mrs. Brick is quite the trekkie and was so excited to meet her. Gates started gushing about Mrs. Brick’s red hair and it was a really genuine conversation. She was properly interested and engaged with the conversation which really made our (and my

She got a few good lines in First Contact (like with the holographic doctor), but you’re right. She was definitely left out of the movies.

Coincidentally, I’ve been listening to the audiobook of The Fifty Year Mission, and rewatching the movies along the way, and man they really gave Beverly nothing to do in those movies. I mean, that’s always the problem with Trek movies, the main guys get all the screen time and everyone else gets at best one joke or a

I know she worked on Labyrinth, but when I think of Gates McFadden’s connection to the Jim Henson company, I always think about her brief on screen appearance with the Muppets in The Muppets Take Manhattan, which is one of my favorite movies (and just plain fun.)

She’s an engaging actor, and she looks like she hasn’t aged a day since her TNG escapades... Wonder if she has a Scottish candle or oil panting in her home?

I would subscribe to whatever patreon it would help if she would interview Diana Muldaur (Dr. Pulaski).  This crossover needs to happen.

I frequently see two things mentioned in regards to crypto (and other investments):

The entire American ISP industry in a nutshell.

I mean I write test cases for a living, so I get your point. But I write test cases for a living, so I also know that sometimes it’s easier to just do a simple case and use the results to guide your research and further tests. I picked the moon because it’s a big obvious nav point and pointing it at the moon vs at

(Dis-)honorable mention to Thomas Midgley Jr. anyone? While he didn’t set out to do harm one of his inventions (CFCs) can still conceivably destroy the world and it seems the harmful effects of the other (leaded gasoline) still linger after all these years and also there was a similar cover-up of the dangers of leaded

It would probably be both, but it would heavily depend on the schedules of the coal trains. Here in socal we usually see third rails in busier sections where freight trains run on those and may even wait while commuter and other passenger trains are running.

Uh didn’t the princeling fight in Afghanistan?

I thought the show made it clear that Hex Vision didn’t transfer his memories, he just unlocked White Vision’s memories which were being supressed. That would include everything up until the moment he was killed by Thanos.

What’s the line, something like: “When you are accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression.”
