Yeah, of Thanos, I think they were all awkward wide shots where he's framed against a celestial backdrop. I thought the lighting choice was weird. Like he was too well lit for what felt more like a work in progress design. If I had been them, I would've gone with a lot of darkened shots and "Doctor Claw" style tight

Psych and Burn Notice are two of our families watch together shows. "I've heard it both ways" gets used daily in our conversations.

It's not really genre, but it does technically exist in an alternate timeline (diverges after the Carter presidency) and one might argue it is very much a fantasy — but my happy place is the WEST WING (especially the first 4 seasons). Whenever I get really depressed about the world, I start a rewatch.

Kyle Rayner has the best origin story. With the Green Lantern Corps destroyed Ganthet, last of the Guardians of the Universe, forms a single Power Ring from what remains and heads off in the universe to find a worthy wielder. Then he lands on Earth, tosses it the the nearest person, and dies.
