Sadly there’s also a little political ideology to go with it around here. Many people don’t recycle because they oppose/despise/disagree with those who do do it. Some even go as far to be more wasteful out of spite, “rolling coal” anyone?

Obvious... ack...and yuck... aside... the people who are commenting on precedence are pretty spot on. It might actually be weird that this might be the case that forces clearer/shorter terms and conditions on before clicking the “I Agree” button. Seriously, check out these other cases incidents and caused…
I’m actually surprised I found the old link but this is kind of related and very interesting for the street level stuff.
I can only imagine what some of the company’s lawyers and actuaries might think. The rules protect them from crashing into other satellites too. Their project goes poof along with their venture capital. Not to mention the whole crap-show of whatever they crashed into. The idea they accidentally downed a military…
I JUST had this argument with a friend dammit! Jennifer Connolly, Mafia vs. Nazis, and a fight on an exploding blimp. I’ll keep my glasses on thank you!
So... “ordained by God”, “mandate of heaven”, “manifest destiny”, and now “biblical world view.” I don’t know whether to be depressed at where we’re at or at the fact the older ones had cooler names...
I think it’s fantastic that he considers a win to be just that. I recently caught a rebroadcast, purely by happy accident, regarding the corona spy satellite back when they were still developing rocket science!
Yea, it was on Asgard or something and in that case Clark stayed true to Lois.
Can this run while plugged in? I adored the previous remington shortcut, but I couldn’t use it while plugged in and recharging was a pain for less than 45 mins of cut time. I had to switch to a Philips model that could operate corded and cordless and have not been very happy.

It was cool, but honestly they missed out on a chance to draw the rebel symbol view-able from the outer rim on the planet’s surface. It really was probably the only thing that could have justified using those pretty-much-speeders against that kind of ground army.
Thank you very much for weighing in with your expertise. Honest and sincere query here, was that last statement about “failure of the US FDA” accurate or did you mistype?
That might have been more due to the PR and marketing. The Merrell company was really pushing the drug to be a wonder treatment for the nausea experienced by women during pregnancy. Anything after that probably was just icing.
I’m strictly support in clinical research so I do a little technical writing in my job, but I can’t claim the profession! My head boss is the same as yours. Heaven forbid if I put a word in parenthesis or if I dare have a whole comma separated parenthetical phrase!
One of my true heroes in the sciences is Dr. Frances Oldham Kelsey.
Man I’ve been hanging around the technical realm way too long... I really needed a reminder like this. I was only really drawn to the “124 was spiteful” example.
Semi-related, this past month PBS aired a documentary on the Voyager mission http://www.pbs.org/the-farthest/home/ and they went over some of the tech and techniques on what it takes to photograph things that are so far away from the sun. I believe the documentary is now on netflix.
This times out pretty well with PBS’s awesome documentary on the Voyager program airing this month.
I used some swag/promotional ones (small and thin) for luggage tags and to keep zippers together instead of a lock or something. My niece enjoys having a quickly removable name tag that can be attached to things when something like that is necessary.
I’ve talked to a few people, medical personnel and some former law enforcement about this tip. I live in an area where brass knuckles are illegal. While the cops would still be uneasy if they found this on a suspect, apparently this tip is debatable in its effectiveness. The agreement among who I talked to was that…
Fun bit of trivia, Dean Cain originally beat out Kevin Sorbo for the role of Superman/Clark Kent in Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman. As the story goes, casting was just just down to the two of them and Cain just won out. We got to see a weird bit of altenate universe casting thing with Teri Hatcher and…
