I’m still hoping for some sort of curtain call. And ending movie that acknowledges everything and closes out the entire MCU as we know it. The reboot will come but I don’t want to have our favs recast because they’re older or shoehorn “we’ve always been around” reasons to make crossovers happen.

For those really really non-pros of us, from a practicality standpoint, I take comfort in being able to hand off a point and shoot camera to a stranger when I ask them to help with a picture without the risk of them stealing my phone or if there’s a likely privacy issue with someone texting in a middle of a shot or

I recently saw Return of the Jedi at Lincoln Center with thew New York Philharmonic playing the score. Given the live nature, intermission was welcomed by all. Now, I’m not sure Return of the Jedi ever had a cut with an intermission built in but they made it work without taking you too much out of the movie experience

Like many, I’m not a fan of this guy, but it’ll probably be a while before the Supreme Court agrees to consider another case on Civil Forfeiture. We could really use a ruling on this soon.

The reluctance to visit the equifax website is so true!

Damn it, I probably shouldn’t take a spot from someone who can for sure make it but so freaking tempted...

I was thinking the comics have been fine without them, but I suppose that’s a matter of opinion. I remember that panel of Peter Parking doing that nice tribute to them with a tour of the Baxter Building with Johnny Storm. In that panel where he clearly says they’re missed, they’ll be back, and they’ll never be

I sound out each letter.

Wow, the Federation didn’t even know that some Trill had symbiotes until Crusher and the Enterprise had to reveal the secret in order to keep a planet from going to war.

That part was canon, hence Jadzia and Ezrie have parts of serial killer in them. It’s still just a secret, among many, Ben Sisko keeps from everyone.

They mentioned it again too in Drumhead with the witchhunt admiral Satie. It was just a passing mention of conspiracy. Like it was cleaned up pretty nicely.

I had quick reflex to check the geography and wow. Depending on where the launch sites are concentrated, Australia could routinely launch downright close to the equator. That’s a lot of efficiency there in terms of costs to get something into orbit no?

I get that the SEC filings are worth more than their weight in gold for insider trading, but I’m actually curious about how this shake up will ultimately affect any investigations/cases the SEC currently has. Might be the reason, aside from utter embarrassment, that they’re not releasing any details right now.

Can anyone speak to the how home insurance companies or insurance companies in general are adapting to this uptick to these severe storms?

Beyond politics and money this is a step back for society in general that people should be concern about.

Thanks for the advice and information.

Not saying that there are not scientific technological facilities that have a fan base in the U.S. (anywhere they’re launching rockets for instance) and I’m not saying those installations wouldn’t just be annoyed at the attention, but there’s a little joy to be had to see tourism based on this kind of patriotic pride
