MHW is the easiest game in the series to get into. It smooths a lot of the rough edges of previous games, and does a good job offering tutorials for most things. There are a few things you’ll never learn on your own, but that’s part of the fun of Monster Hunter (and it’s never as obscure as, say, Dark Souls).
