331Erock is so talented. He has also done my favorite version of Let's Fighting Love from South Park's anime parody episode.
I think we're getting back toward hand drawn stuff though, or at least a hybrid.. Example: Adventure Time is very slick and smooth and very HD, BUT for the most part it's hand drawn by a number of different artists before being cleaned up, and I think that works pretty well. Ghibli stuff would be another way that…
haha, I figure that, but then a couple of more people responded similarly about why it would be a aircraft over a space craft.
Actually, it's WAY more Don Bluth-influenced (Secret of NIMH, An American Tale, Dragon's Lair the video game) than Hanna Barbera. The closest we see to animation as cheap and crappy as HB is Adult Swim.
Boom
"Don't you think you should move on?"
"...I like it!"
Doesn't he at least grunt in the game when he gets hurt? Or do they have VA stunt-doubles for that work?
How cagey.
What would be the purpose of a sequel? What, exactly, would such a sequel be about? Akira stands fine as it is, an example of some of the best anime of the time that influenced many, many other animes, movies and TV shows even outside of Japan.
This man is a fucking genius and if any of you assholes start talking shit about him I will personally kick your ass.
That's exactly how I felt...
Hahahahaha. I was thinking about this while scrolling through this Kotaku post.
God I miss '80s special effects...
HAHAHAHAHAHA Damn sure that's the general consensus here... and anywhere else this comes up.
This.
