Or Star Trek: Self-Discovery as I like to call it. Burnham is like the anti-Data. She feels all the emotions at once, and her face can’t keep up.
Humans don’t need jobs, they need food, safety, security, leisure and all the other things we get jobs to acquire. A job is a means to an end. If all of that is produced by robots, someone has to consume that production, otherwise the robots have no purpose either. We’ll figure it out, but it’s going to be a painful…
The big problem is that if labor has no value, then consumers have nothing to trade for the products of labor. All the robots need someone to consume the goods they make. With no demand the value of the products also crash to zero. It’s a pickle.
Someone on here told me that I (and every married man) had raped my wife at some point, because marriage inherently means coerced sex or something like that, I can’t even remember lol.
‘He signed the release forms when he joined the force and he’s legally dead. We can do pretty much what we want to.’
I’m a second-language English speaker, and for me English is just full of things you just learn and don’t puzzle out. It’s so slapped-together from other languages that often the rhyme or reason for something is long gone from the vernacular.
Is “chomping” instead of “champing” an American thing?
Hang on, wasn’t the original idea that Pandora was just one of many moons that had life on it, an that future movie might be set on the other moons that orbit the gas giant?
It’s being shot that really sucks.
OK, but guns ARE pretty cool though.
Yup, whenever I read anything that Batman says, it’s Conroy’s voice in my head.
What’s your point? If it’s an animated show created by a Japanese studio for a Japanese audiences, it’s anime. It doesn’t matter who does the in-between animation. The Simpsons and many other US animated shows do the same thing, but clearly no one is claiming they aren’t American shows.
Basically the Japanese word anime means any and all animation, but the English loan word anime means animation specifically from Japan.
The most important thing Nintendo did was to unify its handheld and home console libraries into one system. BoTW was just icing.
Oh, and “Deux” is also “two” right?
Not to mention that the original cast gets direction from the original director, whereas the dub cast gets it from someone else or only minimal direction through a language barrier.
I think Etruwanonanon is aware of that.
It all relative with those guys.
Bisexuality is completely normal in humans. What’s really screwed up are his parents crossing the species divide.
