All empires end. American decadence has made this comeuppance overdue for a generation, at least.

Sounds like this game suffers from the current state of “satire”, namely that people don’t actually know what satire is and instead opt for super reductive and simplistic spins on actual things going on by just changing some names around and hoping that people just “get it”.

For a good long while now, I’ve had my fingers crossed that the pandemic is essentially to the tool that will get us part two.

This is actually why I’m looking forward to EVs. I’m an unapologetic land yacht fan and I think EVs are going to provide a nice return to that style of automotive pleasure cruising. The flat torque curve, no shifts, quiet, a drivetrain that takes up less space and allows for more open and comfortable cabins.

Dead Elvis posted his certifications and the second line says “elected as Valedictorian speaker for graduation” hahaha. Like, dude, you could have done anything, and this is the path you chose?

I haven’t made it past 20 seconds. I just can’t fathom his family supporting all that, they own a pretty big golf resort and I’m assuming he’s not the heir to it? Maybe there are a few others ahead of him. He also won the class speaker award (pre rap career) the year he graduated college, which everyone figured had to

I worked at CitiField for two seasons like 10 years ago. I was the only person who knew how to clean the ice cream machine, so I had to do it every night. It taught me a good lesson: don’t be the guy at work who knows how to do things, because there’s no benefit to you.

People who are very good at numbers, very good at predictions, love making money, and whose ability to make money is based on their goodness at numbers and predictions, are essentially saying buckle the fuck up for the rest of they year.

“I know a guy that ran off to Cancun, Mexico with his daughters last winter. Seems suspicious.”

Lemme rephrase: EV6 is a car built by a car company with an excellent reliability record of late, and Model 3 is a science fair project built in a tent.

Someone once suggested Paul F. Tompkins for host. We need to amplify this worldview as much as humanly possible.

Dude must be a forest-rake salesman.

Yeah. The facts that all the regions worst wildfires have occurred since 2000 (most of them since 2015) and all the planet’s hottest years have occurred since 2000 are purely coincidental. The greenhouse effect isn’t a theory. If you release huge amounts of gasses into the atmosphere that absorb the infrared radiation
