Batteries. AA batteries should all be rechargeable without being really bad. Also, phone batteries (though this isn't such a "dumb little everyday technology.")

I have a spare router with the SSID as 'Free WiFi'. It's left on and unlocked 24/7, but it isn't connected to the Internet. Edit: Image

Um.. Because it's not a computer?

Someone's butthurt because they didn't get in on the holiday name-your-price event.

I'M A GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN POTATO.

A green banana jumped out of the sky.

You noticed!

I'm using 1 cheap-ass AA battery in my Microsoft mouse, and it's been in there approximately 5 months. The one before started flashing red about 2 weeks before it died, and I definitely noticed the light and remembered to switch it.

Username so relevant.

I'd have to say Tasker. I made it so it mutes my phone whenever I go to work and unmutes when I get home, plus a billion other things.

What you said: "...you can't name a single Mac virus that isn't a silly, easy to avoid Trojan."

Yes I can. Blackhole virus. Also, I have heard of Linux. I use it for my server computer.

Macs are having more and more viruses written for them every day. Many work on both Mac and PC (They exploit Java loopholes and the like). So your stupid anti-Windows argument about viruses are hardly relevant any more. Also, everyone has some kind of antivirus service nowadays, so does it really matter?

One of my good friends is jealous of my HTC EVO 4G LTE, and he's finally getting a smartphone, but he's getting some cheap Samsung with a pay as you go plan on T-Mo with internet over WiFi only.

I feel the same way about Android phones. While I love them, often the manufacturer screws it up with hardware. Or skins. And then the person with the cheap, horribly skinned phone blames it on Android. I think that before anyone judges Android, they should try a Galaxy Nexus (or an HTC One X or something).

So now the real question: How did you come up with EljhHck? Edit: Google'd your username, found your DeviantArt page, and it's a derivative of your name. That makes so much sense.

Just wondering, is your name Leo?

Cool story Giz tell it again (the next time a new iPhone comes out).
