"Ebola is just a natural part of growing up! You get it once, and you're immune forever. And really, I mean, have *you* ever met someone who has died of ebola? Didn't think so."

I worked at this oddly popular restaurant in my town, and it wasn't uncommon for people to take pictures of the restaurant, especially the open kitchen area. It was weird and annoying, but mostly no one cared except this one chef, who hated it.

I'm pretty sure shooting someone who is only seeking help is pretty much the definition of "a bad guy."

I feel like his plan to have his children win elections for him might backfire. I think I'd prefer to vote for literally anyone other than him.

I was going to say this. I live in one of the many areas of the US that has a healthcare shortage and I always have to laugh when people go on about the long waits in Canada. I have to wait about 2 months just to see my GP, and forget about seeing a specialist unless you're dying. Our system is certainly not immune

Coaches can be pretty influential in establishing a team culture and all that. While she wasn't directly responsible for the hazing, it's possible she could have done more to make it clear that that sort of behavior wouldn't be tolerated. I played a lot of sports growing up and it's surprising how much influence a

The dynamic between him and his wife makes me super uncomfortable too, especially when he talks about their sex life during his sermons.

I'll be pretty surprised if anything happens to him, sadly. These kind of accusations have been flying at him for a long time. They do seem to be getting more press though so maybe things are starting to hit critical mass.

That is adorable. I probably would have been the same way in fifth grade.

I think it's kind of irrelevant where fajitas were actually invented because for most of the US, fajitas=Mexican. Even if the copy editor was just trying to evoke Texas, it's in really bad taste and a copy editor should be aware of things like that.

I have heard of male victims but you're definitely right, it's typically a gendered crime. And given the limited opportunities for women in areas where these attacks are common, the impact on survivors is far from equal.

I don't think anyone would object to more government resources going to support prospective mothers and prevent them from being coerced into abortions. It's specifically the ban that's the problem because it doesn't actually address the problem and potentially puts mothers at risk, just like banning any other form of

Glad I could help. ;)

Horses are also one of the few mammals that sweat like we do. We have so much in common. ;)

I would watch that.

Someone on GT mentioned that the original looks like a penis with a head and arms added and I cannot unsee it.

Somehow, Nicki's head is placed better than Spiderwoman's in the original. Spiderwoman looked like she was decapitated and her head was floating in the general vicinity of her neck.

Haha, I was going to mention how sometimes when they're dropped they give their penis a little flick to get the flies off of it but I didn't want to seem too weird. Oh, horses. I still have one but she's a mare so at least I don't have to deal with sheath cleaning, although I do think I prefer that to the mess on her

They have a sheath up against their belly that it kind of retracts into. Kind of like a dog penis, if you've been around dogs. It does kind of squish up a bit.

In that case, I'm all for it.
