You can be involved in grassroots social movements enacting positive change on the ground level and refrain from voting for people who forward racist policies that hurt people of color and other minority groups. They’re not mutually exclusive. Like it or not, elected officials have power…

So you’re fine with Hamilton saying that supporting racist policies is bad, but as soon as he gives specific examples of what those policies are and who supports them, the article is no longer useful?
