And likely about 1/5 the cost. Those K cups are a complete waste of money; the only way to make the process vaguely cost-effective or environmental is to use the reusable K cups.

"from a convenience standpoint"
As a drinker, I love this idea. As a modern human, I hate it. This is as bad as it gets when it comes to an over packaged culture - worse than those stupid coffee K cups. Now, if these were sold with the intent to be reused, that would be a different story, but they aren't, they are sold as single use trash. Even if…
I think that for every Apple "fail", the experience gained has led to greater things for them. I mean, if not for the fail of the iPod socks, apple may never have released the iPad Smart Cover. Am I right?
You know, there are lots of ways to pay significantly less than retail for Apple stuff. Going beyond that and I'd just be getting into a fanboy/flame thing ;-)
I'd assume insurance companies would just laugh at you, and probably jack your premiums as well, if you dared try to file a claim.
Brent, any plans to test how the three new models hold up against each other? I get the sense that the white edition would be fine with me, but would love an objective comparison between all three.
I don't think you should give him such job-related credit. I get the sense he would have been out there regardless of whether he had cameras to test or not. He was just able to expense his play time by testing the cameras.
I tried to internal antennas, had bad experiences with both, then picked up and external one - a ClearStream4 HDTV antenna (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BRXW74/ref=wms_ohs_product) - from Antennas Direct, and have never looked back. It was super easy to install, is very small, and including substations (5.1,…
I like the pop-out/slide-out functionality they built. Wonder if anyone will mass produce a solution like that?
Hadn't thought about the wifi one not having GPS. Was happy to tether my phone to the mini for data but the LTE iPad mini really is pricey to the point where there are some pioneer head units that might be a wiser investment. The keyboard would prove no more of an issue than any number of other devices input methods,…
Not really. I have an awful lot of time, money and knowledge invested into the apple ecosystem. I'm not saying android might not be a viable solution, it just isn't for me. No need to get your hackles up ;-)
Brian (and others) - I appreciate that this is a very niche market, but what about the iPad mini as a in-car entertainment option? My iPhone is just a little too small, and has to come with me when I leave my car. My iPad looks ridiculous mounted in my car - simply way too big. But an iPad mini, connected to my head…
You know, there has probably been more publicity surrounding them messing around with the apology than if they just silently did it right the first time. I get that it was fun for apple to mess around bit cause they could, but the PR wasn't stellar for their games.
Do you have an optical viewfinder on the NEX? I simply can't imagine trying to get precise focusing without.
"I really only shoot primes, and I mostly shoot wide open, which is high risk, but high reward"
Ah fuck. Blame my iPads shitty ass on screen keyboard that I've been cursing for the past three weeks!! Miss my laptop :-(
6.1 beta1 seems way more stable on my iPad 3 than the release version of 6.01 did. Everything crashed for me under 6.01. Other than that, nothing has seemed particularly different at all. But not crashing is a big difference, really.
Why not? If it makes Rick Steve's happy (http://www.ricksteves.com/news/road-trip/newapproachtour.htm), we all should be happy.
Being a WA resident, and current medical merijuana card holder, I can't say how pleased I am at our states choice at the polls. What a great day to live in WA!
