Have to give props to Primitive Racing for their skid plates. Had a 1/4” one on my WRX and would frequently hit rocks with it on random fire roads at speed. Received a lot of character-building scrapes, but never once dented nor gave me any problems. Plus...armor.

Definitely the best, though pricey. I had one stolen, so got a replacement (an XL). My wife wanted one too, borrowed my XL, then managed to break it somehow. Senz sent me an XXL for free without asking any questions - just had me send them the serial number from the old one. Fantastic customer support.

What...how it compared to natural child birth?

Yup. Old.

First experience online, pre-web, was Compuserve back in '85 or so. CB Channels existed as chat rooms. Usenet was fun. My dad was already doing online backing (with Citibank). Almost everything was done through terminal. Moved to AOL in the late 80's. By '92 or so, was ready to ditch AOL in favor of a local

Automatic. I purchased one when it was in Kickstarter mode. Used it for about a year now. My one comment on it is that it was not designed with manual cars in mind - if you drive a manual, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Otherwise, it is a neat toy/gizmo.

Only tried it for the first time last year, after almost 35 years of backcountry camping, and have to say, while I had a tough time finding the right amount of slack in my hammock for best sleeping position, not worrying about finding the right spot to pitch my tent was incredibly nice - made me realize hillsides

What are the 9 most expensive things you can find on Amazon that are available with Amazon Prime?

Get the Cree flashlight for $3. I have six of them and they are great - small, cheap, bright, solid. Don't waste your money on Automatic - I got one as soon as they were released on kickstarter and have found that, while it works, it isn't designed well for a manual car (maybe, I suppose, why it is called

I gotta say, I knocked Brent a few times about some of his gear choices, but at least a genuine argument could be made for why to pick all of his gear. This grouping seems more worried about fashion than function, though I will give a nod to the BD day pack and the Sundowners (best boots ever, back in the 90's).

Love me some Mila Kunis, but I think she is the wrong girl for the part. Hate me if you must.

Jesus, that's one well looped gif.

Seattle should have a few of these. One right up Queen Anne Ave would be sweet.

Here are what are currently in my "Outdoors" folder, not including what you have already named...

This was me, post-airbag deployment. All around horrible, but it worked and I lived.

I've always been enamored by the military/snow. I stumbled upon this picture on Reddit yesterday. Badass job, if I had to be in the military, this is what I'd want to be doing.
