Eh, if it really is just $10 more, it's worth it. I also don't really need the room, but I wouldn't mind it, and at $10, I'll pay it just to continue to use the aisle seat. Plus it may cut down on aisle seat competition.

I kind of feel like if they make a wide aisle, they should leave the window seat at 18", and then have the middle be a 16" super economy.

So I totally agree with you that our culture has become way to litigious. But, when you are genuinely putting someones life at risk, I think there is reason. Thanks for the follow up. Having tried an Otterbox, and found it awfully chunky and clumsy, I still think a lifebox may work for me. I'm okay with a bit of additional bulk if I can feel comfortable with my all-glass iPhone playing in the outdoors.

I'm a huge fan of the convenience of camel baks, but cleaning the tube and the mouthpiece is a bitch. I highly recommend cleaning religiously or not using anything but water in it. Can get really nasty if any sugar is left in there from some tasty beverage.

I don't know...this seems like it is a bit off. The leatherback turtle (Dermochelys coriacea), still alive today, has and average shell length of between 1-1.75m, and that's average, so I'm sure there are ones which have managed to hit 2m (6'). That would be just as big as one of these, and a leatherbacks jaws…
