Eh, if it really is just $10 more, it's worth it. I also don't really need the room, but I wouldn't mind it, and at $10, I'll pay it just to continue to use the aisle seat. Plus it may cut down on aisle seat competition.

I kind of feel like if they make a wide aisle, they should leave the window seat at 18", and then have the middle be a 16" super economy.

A tangent, I admit, but anyone know what the average life of an SSD in a MacBook Po is? Is it theoretically unlimited or is there some aging effect on the memory?

So I totally agree with you that our culture has become way to litigious. But, when you are genuinely putting someones life at risk, I think there is reason. And this is a case of a instructor who didn't hold up his end of the bargain in a big, big way - not something like he forgot to shower before coming to work

"Who knew Photostream could be just as...effective in getting an iPhone back?"

How else would you tell when the steak is done?

That was so arcane and from left field that you sir get not just a +1, but a +11. Brilliantly played!

They must've read my comment from a few weeks ago where I suggest someone salvage all the left-behind crap and auction it off...

Looks to me like that instructor should be fired, and possibly prosecuted for negligence. Not only does it look like he rather forced her out of the plane, it appears that he missed two of the four clips that hold the two-part tandem harness together.

Brilliant! Well played indeed. +1

Super jealous. I don't think you'll experience crowds quite like this. Good time to climb too - hope your weather is cool and clear!

How ridiculous is that - worse than Mt. Rainier on even the busiest weekend. There are so many other mountains to climb that offer up so much more. C'est la vie, let 'em have Everest. I'll keep Denali.

Thanks for the follow up. Having tried an Otterbox, and found it awfully chunky and clumsy, I still think a lifebox may work for me. I'm okay with a bit of additional bulk if I can feel comfortable with my all-glass iPhone playing in the outdoors.

Why misleading?

Not surprisingly, Seattle is socked in too. Instead, we'll just have an eerie early darkness. Much less fun.

Yeah, but then I think of 4 1/2" snapping turtles living in the mississippi and it still doesn't sound much different. Though a 4 1/2" snapping turtle is still a devilbeast.

I'm a huge fan of the convenience of camel baks, but cleaning the tube and the mouthpiece is a bitch. I highly recommend cleaning religiously or not using anything but water in it. Can get really nasty if any sugar is left in there from some tasty beverage.

They sell a brush kit. And now that the bladders are wide-mouthed, it's way easier.

I don't know...this seems like it is a bit off. The leatherback turtle (Dermochelys coriacea), still alive today, has and average shell length of between 1-1.75m, and that's average, so I'm sure there are ones which have managed to hit 2m (6'). That would be just as big as one of these, and a leatherbacks jaws

I'm still a fan of the LifeProof cases ([www.lifeproof.com]). Now, just waiting for the new iPhone and the update to the case for me to get one...
