Good luck, it is wonderful, scary, life altering and omg so gross in a beautiful kind of way. Congrats!

I think given the situation, she handled it very well. And skin-to-skin immediately after birth is a big deal - I think she was trying to capture what little was left of her birth plan after having just given birth in a taxi - not on anyones list of how they want their birth to go down.

That mom is a fuckin' rockstar!!!! I love that her first instinct is to go skin to skin with the newborn :-)

Not so expensive to install yourself (the marble pictured would be the most expensive material cost). But...water pressure is a concern when trying to drive that many heads.

Is this a suitable replacement for the Swash 100 then? Seems to be a good deal - the Swash only gets one part of me for $600, this will get six parts of me for $1500.

I hope in pool-climbing-wall 2.0 they incorporate a timer so if you don't get to the top fast enough, all the holds regress into the wall and you are left holding...nothing! Mwah-ha-ha-ha!!!

I watched it because NPR said I should ;-)

What I meant was that this is obviously his sport - what he is passionate about and well versed in. Yes, I'm sure it is an adrenaline high for him still. But this wasn't just a thing he was doing for the rush and then moving on to the next rush moments later. He was practiced and fairly meticulous. The stunt just

When you watch skydivers struggle to figure out they need to release their secondary backup parachute because the first failed, it always seems to take them a few moments. And they are usually still thousands of feet from the ground. Doing it after basically shattering your legs, being tossed in a couple of 360's,

I suppose I hadn't considered the void factor. But still, an 80' tall tree or a cat size mammal would leave voids too. But maybe I'm just jumping the gun and these things will be revealed in due time.

When it was compared to Pompeii, I thought that there would be three dimensional examples of trees, animals, insects, etc. These look remarkably two dimensional. Am I missing something here?

Full respect for Kraftwerk, I recognize that they pioneered a sound revolution, but I just can't get into them at all.

"Didn't anyone from the Genius Bar tell them about the first rule of tech support? Check your cables first!"

Also found in similar cave systems....

"he still managed to open his parachute."

I think I would break myself before I broke this, but I don't think either would last very long.

I am looking at this on the bright side. I manage about 30 iPhones and I would put money that every single one of them have had their water sensors tripped. My hope is that this provides a more accurate reading, eliminating the humidity/rain factor and instead tripping when the phone has actually been submerged...

Didn't Boxee just release a USB stick for OTA input? Maybe it didn't do the DVR thing though...Or maybe the mythical Apple TV (not to be confused with an AppleTV) will be the answer (though that won't be cheap).

Actually it was my misprint. It should have been OTB - that is where I go to watch all my HD programming, and if you watch it there, it is then free HD, right? Maybe that is the best solution of all ;-)
