How funny. I’ve always associated Delco (though not necessarily AC Delco) with radios. Probably just memory bias on my part.

100% true. I might see one, maybe two old Neons or Escorts roaming around, maybe a 2000-2003 Focus or something. But I still see waaaay more of these on the road, even more than Civics and Corollas of the same vintage.
And everyone of them has that ridiculously loud lifter tick. When I used to work in a McD’s…
Yeah, one’s minds auto-filters them out as Corollas. The hubcaps are likely gone,. exposing mismatched steelies... and a previous owner likely removed the hood/trunk Chevy badge and replaced it with a Toyota badge to help the resale value. You have to find that AC delco radio to be sure.
I kinda agree, but in 2002, it was sold for more alongside this:
Well, two out of three ain’t bad.
While admitting that a convertible can be problematic as a DD, I counter with this:
Not really. If she didn’t support him, why should he support her?
The worst part of auto enthusiast sites’ commentary is the groupthink, especially the idea that everyone else enjoys cars in the same way the commenter does.
This is such an obvious NP that it makes me wonder what is secretly wrong with it.
Lawdy, I cant even count the times Ive had to have that exact same “Dont buy that car because youll have given up on life” conversation. I tell people they will drive that car every day, just like they eat every day. Why someone would want to eat plain oatmeal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day is…
Literally forwarded this to a co-worker I’m trying to convince to not buy a Solara because that would mean she has given up on life.
ALL DRIVERS from EVERY STATE have been getting noticeably worse in the last few years. People are driving faster, more erratically, less turn signals, keeping smaller distances between the cars in front of them, hogging the left lane, staying in the right lane at on ramps, weaving between lanes, can’t stay in their…
That’s the look of a guy who fucks up all the time, and this is just one more to add to the pile.
the two happiest days in the life of a dodge ram owner. the day it drives into his life... and the day it drives out of his life.
Pretty sure he left it in drive. It took off with alacrity the second he let off the brake.
Mental issues are health issues.
She’s already been contacted about trading in the Civic.
At the end there, when she was walking towards the cops and they were making motions to “stop” and “turn around” and she was kind of ignoring them and gesturing towards the curb, I’d like to imagine she was saying “Why don’t I just go over here by the curb and we can all do this arrest more comfortably in the shade?”
She clearly has a mental disorder of some kind just from seeing her car piled with garbage. It’s a clear signal that something in her is broken. What’s truly sad is that she is in jail and not getting the help that she really needs instead since, like many in our “wealthy” country, lack proper healthcare.
