This happens to me all the time. I call them serial tailgaters. I don’t even think they realize how annoying it is to the other driver to have somebody driving right on their bumper. If traffic opens up ahead of me I gun it and see just how fast they’re willing to go to stay on my bumper. It’s hilarious when you hit…
It’ll turn into a shitbox soon enough.
Cadillac needs to produce a new convertible. Particularly a big luxurious one.
My neighbor just picked up one of these. I think it was a ‘63. His kid cruises around in it all the time and that car is just stunning. I need to convince him to put those wide white walls on it.
Thank you for these details. Wish this kind of information was included in the article. If I had a kid, they definitely wouldn’t be driving after a stunt like this.
Layton police Lt. Travis Lyman gave “a warning he never thought he’d have to” after: Don’t drive while blindfolded.

Here’s an example
You wouldn’t believe how reasonable hardtop prices are for Cadillacs from the 60's. ‘59 and ‘60 are obviously super sought after and extremely expensive, but you can find great deals on ‘61-’70 Cadillac Coupes.
Here are a couple other ones in the same price range.
This price would get you into a really nice Cadillac convertible from the 60's, which would be much more attractive, easier to work on, and make way more power like this ‘65 Cadillac DeVille for only $12,850.00.
At least they didn’t turn it into the monstrosity that is the new Mitsubishi Eclipse. Mitsubishi should be ashamed of themselves for what they did to a pretty decent little car.
I think GM is too worried that it will compete too much with their other brands. Cadillac used to be top of the line, and that’s how it should be. Not just a whole line of rebadged Chevrolets with a little extra flair. I really hope they allow them more leeway so that they can get back on track.
I don’t want to see Cadillac die. They used to make some pretty spectacular rides and I have fond memories riding between my grandparents on the bench seat of their Eldorado. I think if GM were to set them free to do what they want, they would flourish.
Only a few years left until the logo is completely invisible.
I wish the exposed carbon fiber thing would just go away. It reminds me of all the junk you find in that useless aisle at every auto parts store where you can purchase fake vents and novelty valve cover caps.
