From the Los Angeles Women’s March.

The light has gone out of my life.

I’m sorry about your health. Hope you feel better soon. The energy and solidarity at the march was amazing. Here is my sign (in light of the recent allegations regarding Trump’s affair)

Really disappointed in the commentary on here re: the Aziz story. I highly recommend this read for those who still don’t get it.

It must be nice to not get shot after kicking a cop.

I spent last evening baking banana bread and lemon drizzle cakes and today making lasagna soup, which is apparently a thing, for my dinner on Christmas day. I’m getting over an upper respiratory infection that had me down for almost a week. This was the third time I was ill in three months. I’m usually totally healthy

Feeling pretty freaking proud of myself!

A toast to the badass firefighters and first responders here in San Diego fighting our wildfire. Though we lost quite a few homes many more were saved because of them. One firefighter even dislocated his shoulder in a propane tank explosion, put it back in, and went back to work. So many of my friends were

Hey guys!

When you got to the line, “I’ve been sober for over 8 months” every thing written before that exploded into irrelevance.

Hi! My twenties were a blur of one horrific relationship after another (including a marriage so bad that I fled it 4 months pregnant with only what I could bring in a carry-on bag). As posted elsewhere, Willow and Amy wish you a happy Thanksgiving. I’m drunk AF and making s’mores RN:

Lena just wants to be equal to white men. The rest of us can kick rocks. I’m not surprised she chose not to stand in

I appreciate this breath of fresh air. The woes of middle aged disillusioned men are a frankly underexplored theme in literature and film. I look forward to what will doubtless be a unique insight into this marginalised perspective.

I’ve been so exhausted all week. Between not sleeping well, PMSing hard (the back aches have been unreal), and all the candy... I’m going to need a take two on this weekend to get right before Monday. It feels like I didn’t even have a vacation a couple of weeks ago, which was awesome thank you for asking.

Yay for crafty Halloween costumes!
I made two costumes for the little for Halloween.
Shea Coulee from RuPaul’s Drag Race (link to my twitter because I’m being lazy)
and Myrtha, the Queen of the Wilis, from Giselle. I decided to go all out and do a photoshoot with her dad:

You know what time it is?

A Very Merry Indictmas to all!
