1: Don’t stress too much about your glucose test. As many as 20-30% of the 1 hour glucose tests come back abnormal, and the follow up 3 hour test is usually normal. Your weight gain is fine since the baby is growing. Your BP? They will pay attention to that. As long as it’s in the normal range most times, you’re fine.

That’s great advice and so wonderful that you support your dad like that. My daughter is trans, and we could not love and support her more. I tell people we were mistaken when we first declared her a boy at birth, and she has corrected us. Now we are closer than ever before.
