Man, I’ve been rooting for Rivian to succeed ever since I heard about them, but this is a pretty sour note.

I will never agree to that, sorry Rivian. I think your trucks are cool though.

Yeah, a big, resolute “no” from me. I mean, I have a hard time paying Microsoft for Office 365 (but at least it gives me the entire suite PLUS a ton of storage and access to other MS stuff), but for my car? If I’m paying a subscription, I may as well lease the thing.

I saw a R1T up close yesterday. It’s awesome, especially for someone who actually goes off-road: great ground clearance and fording depth, full-size spare, flat underbody. But $15K for subscriptions? Not awesome.

ah, the ol “we don’t want to admit we have terrible password security so we’ll just say facebook was hacked”

Today I freakin learned Navy ships have Facebook pages.

Destroyer-class

It was released into a containment dyke area around the tank, or as some might refer to it as the “secondary containment.” Knowing that, the remediation should be fairly easy. The road was probably closed as a precaution downwind.

Worst comment of the day.

I mean they’ve been developing a pretty high-tech car and haven’t got around to the selling part. Of course they’re losing money.

I’ll put my bias on my sleeve and say that I am VERY interested in getting a Rivian once my A4 lease is up, but it’s not really a huge surprise that a company whose income comes from selling vehicles, is losing money when they’re not selling vehicles.

I hope the delay doesn't push the western version back another year. I'd love the genes to release at the same time.

Did a dinosaur shit on your hood?

I cannot understand what goes through people’s heads when they steal from things like this. If I found this in the woods in pristine condition, stealing parts off from it wouldn’t even cross my minds.

Maybe this will push down the price-gouging too. If enough customers walk away, the dealership is going to lose its allotment.

I can’t decide if the graphics are good or bad. The ground textures look awful.

Pretty sure I’m cheugy.

Let's be clear on something: a lot of players having an issue with a game and rating it negatively is NOT a review bomb. It's just a bunch of people all having the same legitimate complaint.

“However, there’s more that is locked away from offline players including the ability to unlock weapons, items, outfits, and earn new starting locations... playing offline also means players won’t be able to complete in-game challenges or earn experience to level up your Mastery Rank for each map.

Which is often used as a pretext for DRM in all but name. Just look at Sim City, or Diablo 3.
