I mean, if they just added every ridiculous-but-awesome moment from that show, the list would be at least 50% Legends of Tomorrow, and 50 entries long :D.

Ugh, this is just pathetic! Modern game development is so haphazard and lazy, you’d never hear about an item duplication bug appearing in the original Pokemon game, you had to be a good programmer back before patches! What’s next, we’re going to find out that the programming’s so shoddy that glitched out Pokemon with

And every indie developer struggling to succeed in this industry dominated by AAA titles just threw up massive middle fingers.

Yeah, I’m one of those heartless monsters who rolls his eyes at stuff like the Pet button in games, where you can tell your digital simulacrum to pet a representation of an animal. Like, yeah, sure, throw it in there, but I’m going to do it once to see what happens and then probably never again unless there’s some

I mean, just because you won’t do a project if you aren’t paid a certain amount doesn’t mean that you only accepted the job because of the pay. They might just be meaning “Well, yeah, getting paid that much was important, but I picked this specific project instead of the dozen other ones offering a similar amount

...yeah, while I generally try to avoid commentary on lawsuits and the like, given how they can frequently lean heavily on legal technicalities and I don’t have any skin in the game anyway...

No, just Stan, he’s a generally friendly agnostic guy that honestly seems more puzzled than anything that so many Christian folks are so pissed off that he acknowledges multiple holidays this time of year.

Yeah, there’s no way he can possibly win in Florida.

The funny thing is that, while it is a meaningless award (as opposed to, you know, all the other super-meaningful awards at the joke of an awards show), it’s also the one that I’m most interested in, because it has two games nominated that I’ve played that really blew my socks off and got massively overshadowed, even

The BofA report seems... questionable, to be honest.

Well, I was trying to expand on the joke. Yours is mostly that the whole thing is a glorified excuse to show ads for upcoming games, mine is that the viewers have the exact same mindset :).

I think most people would rather have more ads in lieu of those awards, given that the ads are the entire reason to watch the show >_>.

Er, no, that’s not how shows are made, especially not in the era of Peak TV and Streaming. The entire season of Boba Fett was planned out and shot before a single episode was shown, even to critics.

“So, what does it mean if they’re painted Libertarian Purple?”

Aye, I think we are largely agreeing, just seeing slightly different angles on it. I think that the articles people are writing about how wonderful Andor is for not requiring intimate knowledge of Star Wars are focusing too much on the wrong thing.

The problem with Mandalorian Season 2 wasn’t that it was being fanficy-obsessed, it was that the powers that be cracked the whip and demanded multiple episodes designed to be backdoor pilots for other shows.

I largely agree with you on Rogue One. It’s a film with a fantastic final act but really muddled and confused Acts 1 and 2. Its like the film wants to be dark but not TOO dark, and fails to commit to any of that.

Honestly, I find it kinda eyerolling how everyone’s jumping all over themselves to praise Andor for not requiring intimate knowledge of the Star Wars universe to understand.

Sorry, bigot, I’m a bit lost. Is your argument that Chappelle didn’t say anything Transphobic, or that Transphobia isn’t murder?
