Why focus on the minority case. This tech clearly can save lives and property for all kinds of problem drivers. So why frame it as a solution just for drunk drivers?

I am, to my shame, a 2-time loser. And as such, I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that no system exists outside of full automation that can keep drunks from driving while also not screwing over normal, rational drivers at the same time.

Drunk driving accounts for so few accidents in the country. Comapred to cell phone driver and sleepy drivers, DUI crashes make up a nearly meaningless portion of the crashes. But its low hanging fruit - no one in theri right mind would ever speak out in support of drunks - but this is misguided tech.

If she’s so likely to get shot, why is she putting everyone else in harm’s way? And let’s be clear here, an F1 grid is private property with its own pretty extensive security; the chances of someone getting a gun in there, even in a country as ridiculous as the US, are vanishingly low.

Yeah I think those wheels are off an early-’00s Civic HX... talk about a weird model to poach wheels from. Nobody bought the HX.

I do like the Fit, but it’s not comparable in any way to an older Integra in terms of driving experience. There’s a good reason the purists got upset when they lost the double wishbones on the RSX - the chassis and handling dynamics on these Integras is outstanding, even on the lower-trim models. 

I am 100% the reverse. If given a free Fit I’d trade it for the Integra. Better REAL WORLD(not rated) MPG, easier to work on, cheaper to fix, reliable AF, much more iconic, and roomier interior.

That’s a good point, though I haven’t seemed to been able to find occupancy in places like this.
