Anyone else remember when car sites weren’t staffed by political hacks?
I don’t really care what type of person Tuberville is. This is a GD car news site. F*ck off with this shit.

They could start by making the vehicles smaller.
Yeah overburdening government for the win!
Automakers purposely pushed people towards trucks and SUVs over cars because they’re more profitable and have lax fuel efficiency standards (in comparison). Increase the standards/penalties on trucks and move on with life. Proposing increased taxes on the average Joe is a fairly dickish kneejerk reaction.
“Please release us from this fresh Hell. I cannot take it.”
Yeah I mean, one could argue that EVs are better from a CO2 point of view. But “sustainable”? Hardly. Whereas vehicles that burn renewable sugar cane sourced ethanol from their home country? Hmm, that sounds pretty sustainable to me!
Without synthetic ammonia production, half the world’s population would probably perish. Synthetic ammonia production is made possible via fossil fuels. So...think about it, haha.
You mean like how we do, for almost all food cultivated on Earth?
There’s no one left at Jalop that really has any credibility. That ended almost a decade ago. Only reason to come here now are for lively comments discussions. The writers are for the most part unknowledgeable, EV Koolaid drinkers, and many don’t even own vehicles. It’s an odd combination.
You’re probably older than me. But enjoy getting 10-20% less for your money and sucking it up like a good boy.
Certainly true. Also F1 has gotten very boring.
A lot of local utility companies will install them for free.
They’re boring. I’ve driven an Model Y Performance quite aggressively. After being impressed by the immediate torque a handful of times I was all, so that’s it? Boring. And sadly there’s not even anything inside to look at surrounded by a spartan interior.
The ease with which you accepted the bullshit inflation hikes over the last 2 years (entirely intentional, depending on which level you look at) is alarming.
Love that golf cart interior...
Will drive a stick until the day I’m too physically incapacitated to do as much. Drove one for 3 years in NYC. Not really a big deal.
Come on now. It looks better than a Model Y.
I understand that many people don’t watch a lot of TV, but I’m a little surprised that any car enthusiast would be unaware of one of Netflix’s biggest hits...ever. Seems like almost nobody would miss that, lol.
Owned a 2017 GTI. For me the interior is but one of many reasons I’d never consider a Mk8.
Who in the flying f*ck decided those were good looking wheels. Woof.
