There’s a reason WRXs are sitting on the lots. Ugly, and overpriced at MSRP.

I’m first on my dealership’s list, waiting for a Circuit.  I’ve already passed on two Cores at MSRP.  Granted I put my deposit down almost a year ago, but with planning these can be found for MSRP.  And as availability increases, that will only get easier.

It’s faceplanting, don’t worry.  At least in NC.  Any sort of sports/enthusiast car is still hard to find inventory for.  Meanwhile WRXs are just sitting on the lots around here.

Counter that statement with Subaru’s decision to discontinue the Impreza sedan...but they still make the hatchback.

And yet, half of the WRXs sitting on the local Subaru lot have an MSRP of $42-44k.  You’d have to be high to pay that over any of the vehicles you mentioned above.  And yes, you can get a GRC for MSRP, it just requires patience and planning.  Meanwhile you can walk right up and (probably) get a WRX for under MSRP

Sadly no.

Amen.  And articles like this that “highlight” all these incredibly obvious facts are so sad it’s pathetic.

At that point it’ll literally cease to be a 911.  No longer rear engined = just another car.

Good thing that the government more highly regulates SUVs (oh wait).  Also great to see how the government kinda made this happen as well, yay.

As of the 992, no not the base 911.  You have to spring for the 911 S

And the whole point was AFFORDABLE available options for younger car buyers.  I was pointing out that the AFFORDABLE trims for given models no longer offer manuals.

My guess would be that’s because the engine’s origin was a Buick design.  maybe?

I once showed up at O’Reilly to dispose of used oil. I had 55 quarts with me. Guy behind the counter asked how much I brought. His response to my answer was “Are you f’ing kidding me?” Hahahahaha. (it adds up quickly when your car holds 10 quarts)

It’s almost like you didn’t read my post :-P

I could be wrong about this, but the above statement seems quite off IMO. Not to mention anything remotely sporty now gets marked up until your nose bleeds.

I disagree. If you’re “mid-sport” (haha) then trifles like the stereo volume or cruise control speed are immaterial. Also a well designed modern sports car has everything you need a hand’s distance away anyway.

You should look up the 90s era Porsche steering wheel. It’s almost identical, hahaha. (Also steering wheel controls don’t belong on sports cars.)

1-3 are dead on and I had the same annoyances with my 987 Cayman. #4...IIRC my wheel tilted and telescoped so I didn’t share that complaint.

What’s annoying to me about it is how the media is more than happy to cheerlead for them.
