If you think this is reasonable, they’ve already won >.<

It’s not so much more demand than Toyota predicted.  It’s the sheer fact that they haven’t been delivering vehicles.  Supply chain issues are supposedly to blame, but they’re months behind where they promised to be when official announcements were made last year.

Bingo. Seems like everyone commenting otherwise doesn’t understand basic mechanical vehicle design.

In this case it’s not even legislation.  Just hallow executive orders.  i.e. not remotely the will of the people.

FCP Euro is an awesome resource for most any German car, love them!

There’s a Civic hatchback...

Bring back the tailgate from the 1992-1995 Civic hatchback!

Honda discontinued the “fast” Accord.  The latest Accord is available with base engine (slow) or hybrid (slightly less slow).  That’s it.  No 2.0T and certainly no V6.

At this point is Lotus just Lotus in name only?

Thanks for the nice reply

If a reborn car enthusiast is someone that enjoys silent 2 pedal 3 ton vehicles that handle all the tricky parts of performance driving themselves, not sure how much common ground they have with people that actually enjoy driving.

So you enjoy fast heavy vehicles that basically do all the friction management for you.  Sounds like a ball.

Nothing says environmentally friendly like tossing a barely used Tesla in the trash.

Hopefully these “written off” vehicles can be well scavenged and most of their energy intensive (to make) parts recycled/reused.

That’ll bring power numbers to a healthy (for the car’s size) 134 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque.”

Did you seriously imply that refueling is one of the worst parts about vehicle ownership?  What goes through your head?

Here’s an idea:  Build something other than a doopy CUV.  Something that identifies with your brand instead of just chasing sales.

It’s the norm everywhere. It’s just highlighted here because it seems like half the country enjoys hating on itself.

If its summer time, then the answer is one with ventilated and cooled seats.  I had an S2000 for 4 years and summer was the most miserable time to drive it. Way too hot in NC for topless action.

Sounds like tailgating, not speeding, is the problem you’re dealing with.

Oh look, another Jalop writer endorsing big government solutions.
