Oh I completely agree.  Dickhole of a dickhole.

Agreed. Whether my niche sports car that gets driven a 3,000-5,000 miles a year is powered by ICE or EV, it has dickhole effect on the environment.

Suspending the gas tax is hilarious, given the administration’s stance on evil gasoline. Just another example to show you how ridiculous and poorly thought out the government’s “clean energy” transition plan really is.

I’m over in NC so won’t be making that long journey.  But I will be at CMP in April.

Barber is a fun track!  I just returned from a Lemons race there this past weekend (was first time driving at that location).  Lots of ups and downs - a few drivers got motion sickness.

I’ve heard its easier if you drop the engine a bit.

What’s so hard about regulating driver behavior more?  Semi-annual car control tests seem pretty easy to enact.

THANK YOU.  Exactly what I came here to post.

It’s especially fun when you’re behind a vehicle with 2/3 brake lights burnt out.  Are they turning?  Are they braking?  Stay tuned to find out!!

This one baffles me.  The NHTSA even did a study showing amber turn signals help with a 25% reduction in rear end collisions.  And yet the government does nothing about it.  Instead we get more complicated (and expensive) accident avoidance and auto-braking systems that aren’t as effective.  Really blows the mind.

Governments are rarely interested in anything sustainable/environmentally friendly if it doesn’t also increase their power over the citizenry.

If its not used as a work truck, then it should be regulated as a passenger vehicle - because that’s exactly what it is!  We’re not reinventing the wheel, haha.

You should probably thank your government instead.  They’re the ones that make heavy industry next to impossible in that country.

I remember when Car and Driver tested that Versa.  Under Negatives they wrote “worse than a used car.”

Pedestrian crash regulations have been ruining cars for almost 20 years.  It’s laughable given 1) most collisions with pedestrians are a result of smart phone distractions and 2) people flocking to CUVs/SUVs/trucks that will just send you into the afterlife even quicker.

It’s good to see people actually going about their life in winter weather instead of just cowering inside.

I’d argue that putting a stop to deforestation & water pollution would have a bigger impact than everything else combined. Sadly, it wouldn’t give governments more power over people. Shame, that.

Oh no, evil fossil fuels!  At least we don’t need slave labor for extraction.

At higher elevations the air is thinner. And while a turbo can mostly negate that, it increases lag. Takes longer to compress less dense air to the same pressure. Basic physics really.

Honestly...wtf was this guy expecting?
