While transaxle cars are all starting to appreciate, they’re not to the level yet where this is a reasonable amount of money for this car. For this money someone is better off with a 944 of similar vintage, or an older 928.

Had to laugh about the range anxiety comment when an Alfa is your alternative, lol.
Different strokes for different folks is fine. But one side wants the other to subsidize their preference...and then that side also wants to ban the other side.
“let the electronics do their magic”
Good for 1-2 1/4 mile runs. Then they fall flat on their face and lose most performance.
The sound is there. But part of the emotion involved in the sound is knowing (and sometimes feeling) what is creating the sound. And knowing that you own and operate that engineering marvel under the hood.
So to you performance is one dimensional? Straight line speed and...
That’s great, but then you’re stuck with a soulless appliance. Fast? Sure, but that’s about it.
Exactly. It doesn’t even have to be an EV.
What happens when you make people pay for the negative externalities of buying EVs? You can’t have it both ways.
We could fix that, but apparently in the US punishing assholes is discriminatory. Not sarcasm either.
Amen.
Thanks for your judgement and scorn, I’m sure you’re an expert on this subject.
So that’s why places like the beltline around Charlotte have a 70 mph speed limit, but the interstate in middle of nowhere NC still has a 65 mph limit? Higher limit in higher population density, same road design type. Doesn’t make much sense from where I’m sitting.
Should we all instead drive 35 mph? Will that be “safe” to you?
Agreed.
Or we could not make an inflammatory blog post highlighting a weak and inaccurate study performed by economists of all people.
The “US at this point”? That’s a pretty ridiculous statement, unless “at this point” also applied during the previous administration....and the one before that, and before that.
It’s preposterous to think that they should, just now, take issue with ANYTHING going on in the US. I can understand the reasoning for it, but as long as races are held in Russia, China, the Middle East, Baku, Vietnam...just....just STFU. There’s enough hypocritical bullshit in the real world.
I love it.
