oh Good for you!  Some of us have better things to do with our lives than scroll down to read all comments.  Esp ones like this.

Jalopnik apparently hires anyone. RWD Acura sedan? V8 in an Acura sedan (or any Honda/Acura)?

Back in 1997 my first car was almost a light blue 1986 FC. Didn’t pull the trigger as I was a little concerned about reliability. Also almost bought a 1987 Turbo II model, but the engine blew earlier in the day, the day that I was supposed to drive it lol. Ended up with a 1992 GS-R instead, which is probably the best

Hmm, how amazing that we’re not handling things well. With the mortality rate in the US almost identical that of South Korea I’d say we’re doing fine.

seems like an obvious solution most people figured out over a decade ago.

Well let’s see, the US COVID infected patients have one of the lowest mortality rates of any country with an outbreak.  So you’re gonna have to enable pretty hard to make these people die.

Oh we’re all good. Nice flawed argument of course. By all accounts there is nothing to suggest Obama would have done better. For example, his administration didn’t even take the thread of a pandemic seriously until his last year in office.

So now our lives hang in the balance of our locally elected officials?  Yeah okay.

I’ve been hearing, repeatedly, that the next gen GT86 is going to be a big departure from the first gen.  I’m really worried it will be 200+ lb heavier and not driver focused.

“allow”

Not a V8 (or even a straight 6).

wow that looks way way better! However the front is still a complete mess. Especially the ridiculously sloppy way they went about making the hood high enough for pedestrian impacts.

Those cars were crap then, still crap now.  $25,000 is insane.  $5000 would be more appropriate.

Holy crap, I love this!

Likewise. I had to buy my first car (‘85 Accord 2 door). Looked way better than this Civic.

Not if they care about styling in any capacity.

Besides being ugly, the sedan’s basic design drives me crazy because it looks like it should be a hatchback as well.  Instead, it has a tiny trunk opening instead.

Great review Kristin! And I’m with you on the exterior styling. It’s a complete disaster. I’ve owned Honda/Acuras for 25 years combined, and never in my life, would I ever consider the 10th gen Civic for purchase. I don’t care how great the interior and handling is, when the car is that ugly it’s a deal breaker for me.

Depends what region you’re in I guess.  I bought a brand new 2013 BRZ Limited for under MSRP.  Was literally the first person I know to buy one and the car had a waiting list at my dealership.

My Cayman S (I’m the 2nd owner) came with the Sport Chrono Package, and nothing else.
