Congrats you have an appliance that hits 60 quickly.  Most car guys aren’t 1 dimensional.

With EVs there’s not really much you can do to differentiate.  Pretty boring.

Roaring V8...or silence.  Wow, yeah that’s a tough call.

Not a bad looking design, but the lengths they’ve gone to (especially the name) to associate/group it with the Mustang, are pretty pathetic.

1) engines sound worse
2) cars are heavier
3) most parts are becoming cookie cutter cut/paste
4) calling CO2 harmful is dubious, but mining/refining precious metals sure is.

I can’t be the only one that thinks this name is even worse than simply calling it the Mach 1.

Most fans would argue there’s nothing good about the regulation pushes that have been pushed in the new turbocharged/hybrid era. I don’t know a single fan that likes them. And this was done purely to be “cleaner”.

Don’t forget the carcinogenic brake pad materials.

I’d much rather the engines guzzle as much fuel as they want.  Current power units are boring as hell and sound horrible.

No but that’s exactly what more greenies want.

admirable, but you’re in the minority.

Just another bad joke.

Well damn, you may as well throw your McLaren Senna right in the trash heap because the British supercar maker just bested itself again. The new 2020 McLaren Elva is lighter, faster with an 804 horsepower twin-turbo V8, and audacious in its lack of a windshield and windows”

“I would hate to see these subsidies be reduced, but it would be an opportunity for any other government to take the lead on EV dev. Not that I expect much from America at this point.”

1st gear - Ferrari is going to have a serious image problem if they ever go full EV. For one thing they don’t even need to. Boutique automaker, just pay the fines and move along.

So this is why I haven’t seen a single one out on the road?

One can hope, but I highly doubt it. On the flip side, the Audi e-Tron is really just an EV version of the Q8. And it weighs 1000 lb more than a Q8 (6000 lb instead of 5000).

Fuck yes, the rock is good.

If the GT500 weighs 4200 lb, what does that make this? The first (and prob not last >.< ) 5000 lb Mustang?

I applaud the existence of any RWD V8 coupes these days, so I wouldn’t try to convince you otherwise.  Hah!
