There’s no easy way to fix this generation’s design.  It’s a big chunky fatty that looks like it ate the prior generations.

Civic is a lost cause.  It would appear that Honda has 100% given up on trying to make designs that account for the (BS) pedestrian crash regulations while still looking appealing to the human eye.

What do you mean VW removing the Golf from the American market?  I thought that was just briefly, for the transition to the next generation model.

160 is a very common figure used for German automobiles, since so many had previously been (or still are) limited to 155 mph.  I’d imagine a lot of it is just parts sharing.  Has little to do with the actual top speed of the vehicle.

Nothing optimistic about it at all. Top figure on a speedometer has almost nothing to do with a vehicle’s actual top speed. Sometimes it can, but there’s no correlation.  160 mph is a very common figure to be used though (parts sharing).

Thankfully we do have these things called race tracks!  VIR is about 90 minutes from my house and a C8 will easily top 160 on the Full Course configuration, maybe even 170 mph.  

Yeah it doesn’t really matter, but for some reason publications still love to make note of anything relatively affordable being able to hit 200 mph.

Not sure why people continually harp on the 0-60 time only happening with the Z51 package. It’s 1-2 tenths different, at most, and is most likely b/c of the tires. Which, a lot of people change anyway. So who cares.

I’ve had an AEM cold air intake on my GSR since 2001, and I still love the sound it makes. Given that there isn’t a fender lining in the wheel well where the intake is, its probably even louder than your RSX, lol.
