Yeah actually people that buy cars like these don’t give a rat’s ass about a $3000 or less gas guzzler tax.

it does get worse mpg. But it makes more power. So I suppose if you modified the NA flat 6 to achieve more power, it’s mpg might have dropped?
If you combine the 911 and 718 sales, I’m pretty sure their sports car sales numbers have more or less held steady for at least the last 10 years.
Whenever there’s an article featuring Tada, you know you’re in for a pile of bullshit. That more than held true yet again here.
I don’t know about a Boxster, but to access the engine (from above) in a Cayman only takes about 20 minutes. Pry back the carpeted sound insulation mat, remove 5-7 torx bolts and voila, the engine. Or you can access it directly from underneath the cars (best way to get to plugs/coilpacks). It’s not really a big deal.…
WTF was Sam doing the entire battle? All we ever saw was him in trouble, just standing around or pinned down. Seriously WTF.
Fact of the matter is people would be much happier with this car if they junked all the hybrid crap. Drop 500 lb, produce 450-500 hp from the engine with RWD and sell it for $50k less than current price. Honestly most people don’t care about “the numbers”. They want fun.
Sure shouldn’t, b/c the Supra is very overpriced for the performance you get.
Ford’s SUVs suck, and the Mustang is freaking huge. I’d consider a GT350 but everything else makes me gag.
and the Nissan Altima can pull over 0.90g on the skidpad, so really it depends on what you’re comparing.
The power, yeah I know. The curb weight, huh? 918 Spider is 3700 lb. NSX is almost 3900 lb. 200 lb difference, not 400. And both are extremely overweight IMO.
A $60,000 S2000 is $20,000 too expensive. And spare me the inflation adjusted BS please.
I own a 987 Cayman S, and view it as a modern NSX. 107,000 miles so far and has been as reliable as every Japanese car I’ve ever owned.
I hate that it’s needlessly complicated and extremely heavy for such a small car. (FYI I dislike the 918 for the same reasons).
170 NSXs were sold in 2018. 170.
Well you got me there. But 18" longer and 3" taller is still a pretty large difference. Maybe it’s “perception” but when I sit in one it feels massive.
Very sound financially. I just can’t live with myself driving boring cars!
Those Civics are miserable. Come on treat yourself to a Mazda3 or something.
I mostly agree, but then again they make so much bullshit (stuff that I have zero interest in) standard. So that’s not helping matters much.
bunch of freaking morons over at Ford.
