Because the other two are boring as hell.
Because the other two are boring as hell.
The GX is a rebadged Toyota Prado. Shares nothing with the 4Runner.
With a naturally aspirated straight 6, uhhh yeah. Sure would.
V6 >>>> boosted 4
Thing is, lightweight RWD 2 seat sports cars with manual transmissions are becoming exceedingly rare. Add in a naturally aspirated engine AND hydraulic power steering and you basically have a party of one.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Especially since Toyota already sells that. It’s called the Highlander.
The FB20 and FB24 aren’t exactly stressing the CVT...or any transmission.
It’s too damn big. If Ford wants something for the Thunderbird crowd then just offer a stretched Mustang and call it the Tbird.
yeah, it’s actually not just opinion when the transmissions and engines are literally built with higher quality, more durable materials.
Mustang is a big fatty. But otherwise, not much to complain about. Sadly, that’s enough for me to not want one.
People buy them because sometimes newer isn’t better. Especially when the automakers think they know what people want better than the people themselves. Sure, a majority of vehicle buyers are sheep and will buy whatever crap is served to them (ahem, last several generations of Civics). But a lot of people actually…
So it’s got 1hp more than the Sonota we could buy 8 years ago? Are we sure the badge on the back doesn’t say Subaru?
The reliability makes sense, given how weak most of the Subaru engines are.
I guess I would agree with that statement about domestics. Imports (JDM), not a chance. Talk to people that work on these cars in shops every day and they’ll agree with me.
Honestly the 370Z that I’d want would be a stripped out base model including the LSD and Sport model’s brakes, and that’s it. For $30,000. Because let’s be honest, at anything over $35,000, in any of it’s variations, the 370Z is no longer competitive. Which is sad because it’s a small (relatively) lightweight 2…
Yeah sure thing. 2014 Impreza hatchback. Driving around southwest Colorado.
“This Mustang, though it’s down two cylinders to the Z, has the same amount of horsepower but a whopping 80 more lb-ft of torque. Its automatic has 10 gears to the Z’s seven. It’s vastly superior on fuel economy, has better tech and a much more modern interior, all for about the same price. I can’t think of any reason…
They suck. Especially in the mountains. Motorboating from hell. Highlighted by the embarrassingly weak engines Subaru still pawns off on people.
Fractionally better than the 3.6R, so yeah, I’m gonna go with you and say no.
They handle altitude considerably better. Should still be able to produce peak rated hp, though you will notice additional turbo lag.
