For $20,000 more? I wouldn’t. That’s dangerously close to double the price.

Z4 has 382 hp outside of European markets.
Pricing was leaked the other day. $49,990 for the base 3.0 liter model.
That’s pretty weak. I was expecting the power levels to match the Z4.
You’re talking about Toyota engines. But this is a BMW. It’s not engineered to drop in a Toyota engine. How is this not already painfully clear?
You’ve got a better chance of buying a new Pontiac than that happening
Toyota said door vents weren’t functional. Ugh
I know what you mean. Sadly I’m in a bind bc I will NOT buy a car with an auto transmission, nor will I buy a heavy sports car :-(
The leaked pricing is more or less exactly where I thought it would be. Which IMO is still $5,000 too high.
If it doesn’t have a manual option, I’m not sure why I’d be interested in this over a used 981 Cayman or an M2. Sure, maybe it’ll weigh less than an M2, but I’ll trade 200-300 lb every day it if means I still get 3 pedals.
Just as an aside, your CRV weight is off by around 1000 lb. Unless you’re referring to a CRV with 5 passengers aboard.
It’s no mystery that only brand whores (and the clueless) bought the CLA.
Exactly, the point being that they shouldn’t even bother with a car this size.
This was basically the moment when Mercedes just gave up on brand cache in the US. Totally jumped the shark and said fuck it, who needs a good reputation anymore.
That is a sexy looking race car. Kudos for Mazda to not ugly it up like most other prototype cars (looking at you Audi Porsche & Toyota).
Of course, if you are less likely to actually hit something, that’d be good. But by all means support the building of tanks. It’s an unsustainable arms race of sorts.
See above reply to Sloth :-)
Oh boo hoo.
Horrible visibility and increased weight are direct results of these regulations. Neither is good for safety.
Did you really just call the current Civic good looking?
