Doesn’t 12,000 years ago line up pretty close to the Younger Dryas?  Sounds like the effects of this impact are already known...?

There’s something wrong with your GI tract if eating at those places makes you poop (in an unusual way).

The Taco Bell near my office stopped serving breakfast a few weeks ago.  Whenever I’m running late to work, I stop there to grab some food.  So pissed, still...

This is one of the big reasons that few people in Raleigh shed a tear over not being picked (myself included).

True, brembos aren’t needed. But a fixed caliper design is vastly superior to a floating design. Fewer localized pressure points on the brake pads, which extend their life - especially on a race track.

It’s way easier to swap pads on the floating calipers of my GS-R than the Brembo brakes on my Cayman.  Way, WAY easier.

$29,000 is a lot, especially when you can find new Focus ST’s for $20,000.

I bow to you, ser.

I’m not going to let it go.  I’m just going to buy cars that still offer a manual transmission.  If that means CPO/used, then so be it.

I own 2 cars, both manuals. Bought a 3rd one to DD, that had a DSG. After a few months realized that most of my driving is just DD stuff, and I was always stuck with the automatic. What did I do?

Unless someone brings up nuclear as real option, I don’t take them seriously.

This is not a classically styled car and it will not age well. And how the hell do you go from a hardtop to soft top and not reduce weight?! Finally, hideous tach and speedo gauges - just awesome.

“It’s interesting to see, all things considered, that a car company seemingly doing everything “right,” can still struggle.”

They’re supposed to be small.  It would appear that most car manufacturers have forgotten this as well.

Let me know when they drop 500 lb of crap out of that car.

RSX was such a disappointment. Inferior to both prior generations Integra. Too chunky, too heavy, cheaper build quality.

The Acura commercials for the RDX with an emphasis on sport and it’s sporting heritage (showing the NA1 NSX and the ITR) are incredibly insulting to anyone with half of an enthusiast brain.  Which makes it an odd thing to do because most people that aren’t enthusiasts probably don’t even know what cars those are...

Though I will concede it’s a huge negative for the weather, LOL. I can barely tolerate being outside in the summer* (*when not immersed in a large body of water)

Haha, well I wasn’t really speaking to my own area really.  Which is NC.  No rust issues here, even on my 26 year old Acura.

It’s not that bad, plus with the lower cost of living owning a winter beater is cheap.
